Great hotel for a week of skiing highly recommended for family

A very nice and nice hotel with very good service and feel good feeling. Much of this was helped up by the amazing man at the reception who was from Holland and seemed to know all the languages, what an access for this hotel, he fixed everything so you really enjoyed it - great credit to him!!
The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, among the best we had actually, everything was there, fresh and tasty, nice staff who went around and served coffee extra plus for that.
Cozy hotel lounge to sit and snuggle in in the evening and lovely atmosphere, with games, hot chocolate and great music! The rooms were good , and very comfortable beds , clean and tidy , big and spacious to store all ski clothes and boots in . And loft with 2 beds so that everyone slept well throughout the ski week. What pulls down a little on the rating is the typical high mountain hotel smell that sits in the room due to carpeting and also dog. But hard to do anything about this because wet boots contribute . A big plus is that the little dog can come to this hotel for quite a fee , which is understandable . Lovely spa with nice location, lovely after a cold ski day!! In all a super good hotel with amazing Dutch service !!!

Great hotel for a 1-night stsy after a long and tiring day. Very comfortable room, we stayed in the deluxe dbl room. Lovely breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. This was a great stay altogether, the only thing to ruin a perfectly good stay was the hotel restaurant where we had dinner. It was very mediocre. Food was bland and uninspired.

Good accommodation

Nice hotel with cozy feel. Worked great when we were passing through. Comfortable beds. Very nice breakfast. Very friendly staff.

Beneficial for body and soul

Best experience, as before. New and old staff, all equally nice and service oriented. Great breakfast in amazing surroundings. Nice tradition to end the ski/snowboard season at Skogstad Hotell, can nothing but recommend for physical activity and mental well-being.
