Best place to stay

Great place to stay, excellent breakfast included, parking available free of charge, great staff and a good restaurant.
Very pleasant stay, room was cozy and clean.
Romantic view of the bay, from the terraceyou can relax and taste lofoten spirit. Absolutely the best place to stay in henningsvaer

Such fit satisfied

The service at the hotel was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.
The hotel is simple and everything is based on codes and electronic communication. There are no shared rooms in the hotel, and the hotel is a short distance from the city centre. Estimated walking time between 15-20 minutes into the center. There is no TV in the rooms, only beds, a small drill and a chair, in addition to the bathroom

Strong fish smell. Seagull poop. Not value for the price.

Not terrible, but smells of strong fish in the building because they get delivery each day. Veranda bar is full of seagull poop which they don’t clean. Rooms are very basic. Defiantly not worth Nok1600/€143 per night. Seems like an old boat house turned into rooms. It is about 10min walk to the center so not too bad.

Nice and quiet

On the far side of Henningsvaer, you require a 15 minute walk or 3 minute drive to the town centre. The area is nice and quiet and has good views over the harbour.
The hotel is well kept and rooms are spartan but sufficient. Breakfast is average but you stay at Henningsvær for the vibes/view, not the food.
Would recommend this accommodation.

Right on the water at the end of town

I enjoyed a 2 night stay here. The hotel is located pretty much at the end of the road in Henningsvaer and is a nice 10-15 minute walk to the "downtown" part of town. You pass the road that leads to the futbol field on the way as well as a bridge that looks out to the entire town/harbor.
The room is simple, but has a nice size area/platform to place to put your suitcase. Wifi was good, room was quiet and my room on the same floor as the restaurant had a great view out to the harbor. The windows also opened so I could get a nice breeze.
The bathroom was a little cramped, but I found this an issue all over Norway. My biggest issue was the shower is just separated by a curtain so water gets all over the bathroom floor. There is a squeegee in the shower, but thats kind of annoying to have to dry the floors after each shower. But the water pressure was good and the shower was a good size, so it could be worse.
Breakfast had a variety of options and was good. There were juices and smoothies, breads and lots of spreads, eggs, cheeses and meats, yogurt, cereal, cookies and a bit more. There is also a huge deck off the breakfast area that looks right out onto the harbor. would be a great place to relax and have some drinks.
The staff was friendly and made some good suggestions for planning my day. I would stay here again.
