DUSGUSTING, NIGHTMARE!
The extremely unprofessional handling by the management team was unacceptable. I arrived late in the evening, and the smell in the room was so overwhelming that I was genuinely shocked. When I opened the bathroom door, I became physically ill—the toilet was clogged and appeared not to have been cleaned for an extended period, containing visible waste.
Although I was eventually moved to another room, the way the situation was handled afterward was just as concerning. When I raised the issue with the staff, there was no sense of accountability—no apology, no acknowledgment of the severity of the problem. Instead, they denied that anything had happened, which was simply unbelievable.
This is, without question, the worst experience I have had in over 20 years of frequent travel.
Although I was eventually moved to another room, the way the situation was handled afterward was just as concerning. When I raised the issue with the staff, there was no sense of accountability—no apology, no acknowledgment of the severity of the problem. Instead, they denied that anything had happened, which was simply unbelievable.
This is, without question, the worst experience I have had in over 20 years of frequent travel.

Steer away, if you can
1. No room for storage. In the room.
2. The only place for storing toiletries in the bathroom is the top of the cistern in the toilet
Poor feather without the end piece, which
"eats" long hair. Bring your own feath!
3. The room of the friend couple was lived out without being cleaned and cleaned.
4. Day 2: Neither our room nor the friend's room was cleaned at 1:00. 17.30,
when we came back after having been out of the room since noon. 09.00
Do not replenish with powdered coffee etc.
5. Magler light bulbs
6. We got the "understanding responsibility" that they were only finished with incoming rooms.
7. Dead as in the grave on the whole hotel
8. Only hotel selection in Ørsta. Zero service.
9. Extreme chemical odor in 2 floor
10. Cube throw 1 because breakfast is perfectly straightforward.
11. Premium room with balcony - quite as expected, with the exception of that above. Do not give points in itself, although our room was clean and neat when we arrived.

Business trip to Orsta Volda
It was an excellent trip in a wonderful hotel. The young and dynamic staff provided me with the Information and help I asked for without hesitating for a second.

TOO BAD!
Arrived at the hotel early as I had asked to get the room as early as possible. Nice lady at reception, and I got the room after a short time/20 minutes. The room was AWFUL! A fair amount of body hair in the bed, and clearly used, so I went back to reception to get a new room. Had to wait another 20 min. Got the same room with new covers on the bed.
Quickly discovered sticky spots on the window sill after glass, a large nasty white spot on the one chair that was there, one glass had a "mouth mark" on it.... The bathroom was very small, and the sink was almost inside the shower, with an old disgusting shower curtain... I was told at the reception, and the complaint was well received. They laid flat, said it was embarrassing and not normal standard in the rooms. I wanted the money back and possibly travel over to Ulsteinvik in a hotel there. But they insisted on sorting it out. I waited another 20-30 minutes. Was upgraded and got a large and decent room. I discovered there was no toilet paper, so I had to fix it with the maid in the hall. Incidentally, the toilet paper was stuck in the toilet roll holder, so I had to open it and have toilet rolls on the bench. The sink seemed to be clogged, it filled up very quickly with water. The toilet made twice as much noise as a ferry, so we weighed each other a few times during the night. The lighting in the bathroom was miserable.
No window that could be opened in the room, but two balcony doors. One had to be locked, because there was something wrong with it and it just opened if it wasn't locked. The other one couldn't stay open by itself, the rod you can attach it to for ventilation was broken, so we had to put a plastic bottle in the opening to get air in.
Breakfast buffet quite ok, but missing simple things like some holiday vegetables. Uncomfortable dining room. Really needs a refresh!
All in all a disappointing stay.
But + to those at the reception who arranged and were accommodating.
