Great location , marshmallow beds
My daughter and I stayed at the Radisson Blu plaza Oslo for four nights in a standard twin room with breakfast . To say check in was busy is an understatement but somehow they managed to get through everyone fairly quickly . The receptionist who dealt with us was very professional. We were assigned a room on the 7th floor ( no view to talk of ) which was just fine for us . They explained that they only have central air and would drop up a fan to our room as it was 30C outside but our room was cool . My main concern about the room are the marshmallow beds , the top mattress thing keeps slipping if you move making just lounging on your bed very uncomfortable. Why not just a normal bed ?
Location the hotel is right beside the train station and mall . The station is like the heart of the city with arteries leading to wherever you need to go . Once we got our bearings it was great .
Breakfast was frantic , we were there over the weekend but again they managed and we didn’t go hungry .
I thought the lift system worked a treat , scan your room card , assigned a lift and presto it’s there . No hanging about for hours . It’s tech , but it’s good tech .

Staff and Sauna on the Top
This hotel makes an impression of a big beehive. It has a warm ambience inside because of the fireplace at the ground level, sauna on the top floor, and of course its helpful staff round the clock. The standard room was quite spacious and comfortable, too. It was quite noisy on the outside due to ongoing construction works nearby at the time of my stay. Other than that, it was an enjoyable stay. I was pleasantly surprised upon checking-out at the reception, when one of my valuables was presented to me, which I thought was gone for good.

Great central location and spacious room, but the overly soft mattress and limited breakfast did not meet expectations.
Great location, very central and convenient, especially close to the train station. The room was spacious and well laid out.
However, the mattress was too soft and lacked proper support, which does not match Radisson standards. Breakfast was also somewhat limited and below expectations.
Overall, a good stay mainly because of the location and room size, but there is room for improvement.

A short stay at the Radisson Blu, Oslo Norway
We expected a little more from the room as compared to the public places when entering the hotel. The room is still very nice and adequate for our short stay. The mattress and pillows are very soft. Has individual room temperature adjustment. Ironing board and iron in closet. Hair dryer & soaps in bathroom. Nice recliner, sofa & table. The mini bar refrigerator has touch sensor even if just checking what’s there you will be charged and they do inform you of this.

Overall, I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and professional, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location and overall service met my expectations. Most aspects of the hotel were excellent.
There were, however, a few disappointments.
The biggest issue was the TV in my room. It would automatically reboot itself about every five minutes, making it nearly impossible to watch anything. This should have been caught before the room was assigned to a guest.
The fitness center was also underwhelming. It is so long and narrow that there is barely enough room to do a simple yoga or stretching routine. While it has the basic equipment, the layout makes the space feel cramped.
The indoor swimming pool was another letdown. It is extremely narrow—more like a creek than a swimming pool—so don't expect to swim laps or have much room to move around.
Despite these shortcomings, everything else about my stay was very good. If the hotel addresses these facility issues, I would be happy to stay here again.
