Outstanding - as always. Unique atmosphere, top service

Another fantastic stay at Sommerro. Great and pleasant service. The room was top, clean and neat, with lovely soap and lotion from Byredo. (Love the smell!) Lovely shower, good light which is automated and easy to operate.
Fantastic with all the offers they have at the hotel - many unique restaurants to choose from for a drink, lunch, or a very good dinner. I especially like the Expedition Hall.
Furthermore, the gym is top, and they have a lovely sauna attached to a rooftop pool.
Every single stay I've had has been memorable! And I've been to many hotels around the world. Always good to come here, and always a little sad to leave.

Hipster not Classey

for my first visit to Oslo, I was expecting something classy and traditional, not hipster or trendy - no doorman or assistance on arrival - had to carry luggage up stairs and navigate a crowded lobby to long lines at front desk. very little explanation on hotel amenities and access - the ket / chip system was totally frustrating and separate key / chip was need to access the roof / pool, which is by reservation only, another trip to the busy front desk, and furthermore, an additional fee - none of which is on the website - also, the cinema they talk about is in season only - lighting system is bad, no highlights in bathroom, room are incredibly small - no evening housekeeping is provided the Staff was friendly throughout the hotel, the location is good, the bars and restaurants are nice, especially the staff at TaK - honestly I was so disappointed in this place it made for a disappointing visit to Oslo. I stayed 4 nights

Couple trip to Norway

The Sommerro Hotel was the perfect way to end our trip to Norway. The location is excellent – very central, close to the Royal Palace and all public transport connections, and only about a 10-minute walk from the harbor.
The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, and the staff were very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. We didn’t miss a thing – in fact, our expectations were exceeded.
We would definitely stay here again and can highly recommend the Sommerro Hotel.

Excellent hotel in Oslo!

Very beautiful hotel, room was cozy and comfortable and the hotel has a privileged location. Staff is very attentive. Maria Edna at the roof top restaurant and Dunia at the main restaurant by the lobby were very friendly. Dinning experiences in both of their restaurants were delightful.

Lovely design, vibe, breakfast and room. One big downer was that I had cancelled our table at a nice restaurant and booked at the hotels restaurant instead, after getting an email that there would be jazz until 22.00. But when we came to eat there was no Jazz…
