Never been so badly treated
Hey.
Since I have not received an answer to email, phone or any other place I have tried, for several months, I am writing here and hope that someone can pass on to anyone who is part of this business.
I have been in dialogue with the Consumer Council and set in consultation with them a deadline for the refund of the money Rundhaug guesthouse owes me. I have not received a single response to this, although I have communicated on all channels, and via VisitBardufoss. This deadline is now far past and I have opened a case with the Consumer Authority. I will demand that Rundhaug Gjestegård cover the costs.
To sum up, I have never experienced being so badly treated by a company. I experience being ignored on all channels over a 6 month period, while the company is very active on facebook, instagram and stays physically open. When I finally took the long drive and met in December, I got to talk to the general manager who said that the case should be terminated quickly and I should have the money they owe transferred to the account. I have since received answers twice on about fifth inquiries from December to now, and both were only “should check with accounts”. Nothing's going on.
In conclusion, I will ask Rundhaug to follow up what they have promised, and pay back what they owe me. I'm not going to let this case evaporate as they seem to hope. You can reach me on any platform, I have left a message on replies, sent SMS, email, written to you on facebook and instagram. I would also recommend everyone who is considering having anything with Rundhaug Gjestegård to be, this is not a serious company that promises things they do not keep.

Worst Hotel / Guest House in Norway
The description of this guest home is very misleading, we should have done what other guests did, drove on. However we had prepaid and had dinner booked and there is no where else to eat nearby. There were no staff when we arrived, keys were there for us on the check in counter. We never did see any staff or any other guest. There was no dinner. Breakfast was laid out in the dining room but we never saw any one.
All doors remain unlocked / open, it did not seem possible to close them without use of force, and no staff on site. Even to close the bed room door I had to use the full force of my body.

Old and absent......
Hotel booked with dinner but on arrival only an envelope with key and a tf-nr 'if you need help'. Restaurant closes at 19.30hr(?) and everyone leaves. Tf inquiries show that we are 'too late' even though they knew about flight and ride of 2hr. So drive yourself to Bardufoss for something to eat. The morning was 1 someone in the kitchen but could and should not do anything. Some ‘refund’ of paid dinner still pending. Rooms are outdated, lots of noise due to the decor. In short, not recommended on several levels.

Stay away!!!
We booked through our travel agent as part of a salmon fishing trip. Without doubt the worst hotel, or guesthouse I’ve stayed in and we all left 2 days early. Dirty premises with no bar, spa or chef as described. No service either. The website is the former owners and the current owner hasn’t a clue what she’s doing and trying to trade on the past. Breakfast was sparse, with butter that was out of date. Lunch provided each day was either cold stew from the night before or cheap hotdogs and rolls. Dinner was very poor and two of my colleagues had upset stomachs one night. You should avoid this place at all costs - our fishing adventure was totally spoiled as a consequence.

Totally inadvisable
We couldn't sleep at the hotel because no one attended to us, despite having the reservation and arriving at 4.30 in the afternoon. No one at reception and they didn't answer the bell or phone.
More than 3 hours later we had to leave 20km away to another accommodation.
They can't play with people like that.
