Pretty decent for the money

After reading that review I was reluctant to stay here but it was absolutely fine, bed was comfy and there was some nice touches to try and make it homely. The bed was comfy and there was no smell. It's basic accomodation which is reflected in the price. It's also quiet so I had a great sleep

Good.

Building quite large and well equipped.
Watch out for the condition of the pans in the kitchen area.
Comfortable bedding.
Very small rooms but nice living room.
On the other hand, the external environment seems to be a little abandoned.
Welcoming very friendly.

Disappointing

The location is very good but the inn is very unkempt. Needs some attention. There was nobody around and we had to contact a restaurant across the.road.Maren Anna. The girls there were indifferent and treated us like we were a pain. All told not a good experience.

A work in progress

We decided to book this despite some poor recent reviews as it was in the right location for us being right near the ferry port in Moskenes. It is in a great location, in a small village set around a harbour, off the main road and a couple of small supermarkets nearby. Even though the staff that gave us the key also gave us directions to the building “with the blue door”, it was hard to find as it isn’t signposted and you can’t see the building front door from the road. Follow the sign to the tanning studio.
Aside from that, the room was a work in progress. We found the bed, bedding and furnishings to be good, but the light fittings and bathroom old and unrenovated. The curtain rail in the bedroom wasn’t fitted correctly and fell off when we moved the curtains but on the whole, the room was clean, didn’t smell, there was no mould in the bathroom and we got a good nights sleep. There is a small communal kitchen but it’s untidy and badly organised right by the front door so people are constantly passing through. OK for making a coffee or having cereal. A reasonable stay, especially for the great location.

Looks old

The place is not easy to find. We have to check inn at a different place than the place we are going to stay. It is confusing.
It is actually located at the same building as Tannklinik. There are 12 rooms.
It looks old and dated. The common area/ kitchen is a bit small. It only has waffle maker, microwave and a small fridge. Oh..an electric kettle.
We cannot cook in here, there is no cooking stove/hob. No oven.
TV does not work. Shower head, the one at the bottom with a hose, is broken. Hot shower water takes a while to be ready. Bathroom floor is not heated.
The only thing that I like about this place is the bed. It's firm and not too soft. My back loves this.
For similar price at similar area, we get an apartment with the mountain view and fully equipped kitchen.
