✨ Great stay at Hotel De Seven Sisters ✨

When we were 20 women on our way to the Sigrid Congress, the choice fell naturally on the hotel in Sandnessjøen — and for a choice it was! We always travel the day before to really enjoy ourselves, and Thursday night was just as pleasant as we hoped.
I sent an email to hotel manager Per Kristian Nystad with an overview of the room distribution — some shared rooms and some wanted single rooms. This was arranged quickly and professionally, and everything was absolutely perfect when we arrived. It gives an incredibly good start to the trip!
The rooms were great — clean, comfortable and welcoming — just what we needed to relax and enjoy ourselves before the weekend program.
We had pre-ordered a table for dinner, and it was a fantastic food experience. Great appetizers, delicious main dishes in good portions and delightful desserts — all served with pride. The staff at the restaurant was simply a delight: super nice, attentive and always ready to fill the glasses, with a smile and good mood that infected the whole crowd.
Service, atmosphere and food — everything was superb! We went home with big smiles and already look forward to the next girl trip in a year. This has become a tradition we really appreciate.
Thank you for a fantastic stay — we will be back in a year ⚡

Design, poor food experience and accommodating

Disappointing stay: Shower facilities destroyed and leaked a lot of water, smooth tiled floor inside the shower, bad beds and cold/thin/well-used duvets, tasteless dinner with a few pieces of reindeer/most pasta, cold dessert, inappropriate table that easily tipps, and low lamps that can easily hit your head in.
3 waiters during dinner who do not know what is ordered / agreed, and poor customer treatment.
Experienced less friendly, organized and routine staff without professionalism in customer treatment.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay, but there are a couple of areas that could be improved.
The housekeeping system was frustrating. Guests now need to book housekeeping for the following day, which is fine in principle, but there is no option to choose a preferred time. Housekeeping arrived very early in the morning when we were still in the room, so I asked reception if they could instead come that afternoon. I was told the staff would be informed, but unfortunately no one came. It would be much more convenient if guests could select a morning or afternoon time slot when booking housekeeping.
Another issue was the room temperature. The thermostat would not go below 23°C, making the room uncomfortably warm, and there was no fan available to help cool it down.
With a few improvements to the housekeeping scheduling and room temperature control, the overall guest experience would be much better.

Centrally nice and hospitable with delicious food and drink.

Great hotel with super nice staff - both in reception and bar/restaurant. We stayed here three nights in June and got lots of tips and help for our activities and transportation. Good food and good drinks. Bicycle rental worked outright and the hotel is located very centrally right by the kaia for the ferries. Nice breakfast! Recommended.
