Big appartment close to city center.
We had rented a 3 bed appartment, but was upgrated to a 4 bed appartment without extra cost. The appartment was big, with 2 beatiful bathtrooms. The location was perfect, close to city center. Nice and helpfull Staff.

Dirty accommodation, no help from the manager – we had to sleep in the car!
We booked the apartment Arctic Home – The View because of the beautiful view and the large parking space right in front of the property, as we are travelling with a camper.
Upon entering the accommodation, however, we immediately realized that it was in a very bad and dirty condition. There were stains and hair on the sofa, coffee table and placemats were dirty, there were stains in the fridge and traces of grease on the wall and stove in the kitchen. There was garbage under the sink and a strong smell came from the drain.
The bathroom was not clean either: several broached shampoos from previous guests, a completely dirty hand soap, hair in the drain and dirt and smell in the washing machine – although this was an important reason for us to book the accommodation at all.
In the bedroom, the bed was made loveless and looked like someone had already been lying in it. In the corner stood a broken picture frame and a small chest of drawers was completely stuffed with pillows and blankets and therefore not usable.
The host manager was friendly and understanding and even explained that they currently work with a cheap cleaning company and complaints about cleanliness occur.
There was no alternative accommodation in the same building. Instead, we were offered accommodation in the city center with parking 5–10 minutes away, where it was also unclear whether our camper fits in at all. For us, this was not an equivalent alternative.
We also asked if suitable accommodation would be available from the next day, even if we lost the first night. We were informed, however, that even from the next day no suitable accommodation would be available.
Housekeeping was sent, but after two hours hardly anything had been cleaned. Only the hair in the drain had been removed and the hand soap cleaned. The remaining dirt was still present. In addition, the cleaner had even left her earring in the toilet.
We demanded a full refund. That night we had to sleep in the car.
The next morning, the manager did not call. Instead, we were marked as “no-show” on Booking.com, as if we hadn’t even arrived, which means we can’t leave a review there anymore.
For a booking of €720 we received only €120 compensation from Booking.com.
It is particularly disappointing that the manager never contacted us or apologized at any time. I seriously wonder if he himself would have been willing to sleep in this accommodation in this state.
The only positive point was the host manager , who was friendly and available, but without decision-making authority.
PS: Perhaps the manager will reconsider the situation and approach us to find a fair solution.
