Lovely comfortable hotel with great breakfast. A bus ride from centre of Trondheim. Also direct bus to the folk museum. Really super helpful staff. Thank you. Good for children. Next to football stadium.

Unimpressed

This hotel is in a dreadful location, adjacent to the football stadium and multiple other sports pitches, and certainly not convenient for Trondheim centre. The room was a dark, claustrophobic box with a small window that had automatic exterior sunblinds so we could barely see out, but which then went up consequently waking us up just as we’d fallen asleep!! The lifts were appallingly slow but thankfully we were able to use the stairs mostly as we were on one of the lower floors. The buffet & dining area was quite well set out but as our travels involved staying at several Scandic hotels, we discovered that there seems to be a ‘standard’ menu and hence we ended up eating much the same food on successive days at 5 different hotels.

A very disappointing hotel where you seem to have to pay extra for almost everything, even basic amenities. Even room cleaning—which should be included in the price—comes with a surprise: you have to request it every single day.
The hotel is expensive, poorly located, and the staff are unfriendly and unhelpful. Overall, it offers very poor value for money, and I would not stay here again.

Nice hotel and good comfort

We had a nice stay here, two rooms and seven pieces. Got arranged us to with door between the rooms. Was clean and nice, good service, cosy greeting to the kids in the room when we arrived. The only thing that pulls down is that there are 21 floors, which means that everyone who lives here depends on an elevator. It could be a line. As well as very full for breakfast at certain times. Then the service managed to get enough food in, and get the table cleared. It is also quite expensive to park, obs on it (390 kr per day). But otherwise there is good insulation between the rooms, high under the ceiling, good air and nice windows to sit in for the children! Games available for the kids in the reception, and cinema/TV for the kids on the big screen on the weekend when we were now on vacation. As well as the football World Cup on big screen.

Disappointing breakfast

Cheapest accommodation we found in Trondheim. So totally OK. The rooms are not very pleasant, but the view is fine. Minimally equipped rooms, a little tired. Family hotel, so they have playrooms and movie shows for children as well as welcome drinks for the little ones, which was very popular. The breakfast was nothing to boast of. A lot of improvement potential here, my own buffet, which I initially thought was a great idea. The only problem was that it was only sweet and sugar and pancakes and fancy grandmother, so it was impossible to get the kids proper food in the morning.. Experienced on two different occasions that staff started cleaning the table at breakfast without we even finished eating! On one occasion a lady came to rush at us while my daughter sat and ate and complained because they had to make the room ready for lunch.. Miserable behavior!
