Great tour and tastings of amazing gins.

Trish gave us a wonderful, informative tour of the farm. An easy walk through the olive trees to say hello to the Alpacas. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the tasting of the different gins and limoncello. Her daughter is the maker of the awesome Saint Sin Gin.

What a great experience!

Wow! If you are looking to book a stay near Auckland this is truly a unique home with things to do without even leaving the property. Trish the owner was above and beyond in hospitality. She was ultra timely in response and helping with any recommendations. She made our entire 8 family members feel like we were the only people in the world. We were greeted with warmth and welcome. She scheduled a private tour of the farm and distillery, as well as, a fun tasting of their amazing gin selections. She also made sure we were supplied with plenty of snacks (with home made bread) in our pantry and had pellets for us to feed the cutest alpacas that live on their farm. Absolutely stunning location easy access to what ever activities you are looking for in the area. Even just taking a walk through the sprawling neighborhood was a pleasure with amazing views of downtown Auckland - but located out of the hustle and bustle. I am still thinking about this experience at Lavender Hill 4 months later and will not soon forget it. Keep up the great work Trish (my hospitality sister on the other side of the world!)

Perfect stay

In January we had the absolute privilege of being able to stay at Lavender Hill with family and my daughter’s bridal party.
As per all the reviews, Trish is an absolutely wonderful host and her customer service is clearly her top priority. From the home made bread, croissants, continental breakfast and her personal tour around the property showing us the super cute alpacas and distillery, everything was about attention to detail and making her guests happy. Accommodation was very clean, modern and spacious with the added luxury of each bedroom having its own en-suite. The location is super quiet so we all slept very well.
My husband had a bad accident the day before the wedding and Trish did everything she could to be flexible around our needs and to help us relax prior to the wedding. She also held back from cutting back some of the lavender so we could take some beautiful photos amongst them – this was very much appreciated. Don’t waste time looking anywhere else if you want quality accommodation, excellent customer service and a great rate for what you are getting!

Great family fun

Really lovely afternoon out at the lavender farm. Great people, knowledgeable about lavender growing/harvesting, making gin and olive oil! Very enjoyable for all ages …and delicious gin. Highly recommend. The alpacas are so cute.

Great Stay!

What a brilliant spot! Sensational stay. Fantastic tour of the farm! Magnificent gin tasting! Trish is a wonderful host! Should have stayed longer. The gin tasting was an absolute winner! A range of gins. Lavender gin is a total winner but they were all wonderful
