A very nice motel.
Lovely touches to greet you when you arrive.
Chocolate, mints, flowers, and a rubber duck in the bathroom.
We had the garden studio. Light airy and private.

Good value!

We needed accommodations near the Nelson Airport for our early departure and found the Boutique Motel, 10 minutes away from Nelson Airport and Tahuna Bay. Located in Stoke, it's unassuming and out of the way of small-town traffic. Our room #10 was very spacious and spotlessly clean. Plenty of space for a couple.
There is a rock band that plays at the pub across the street on weekends. If we were younger, we'd join them.
The owners, Derek and Mark are very amiable and assisted us more than any other chain motels would have (in the U.S.).
The bus stops are very close if you aren't driving. We had hot, freshly made scones from the organic bakery and shop diagonally across the street. I forgot the owner's name, but she made us feel at home, too.

Our home away from home

My family and I stayed here, 5 rooms we took and we all enjoyed our stay very much. Mark and Derek are amazing, they are always there if and when we needed something. Boutique Motel is our number 1 when we visit Nelson. My parents have been visiting Nelson afew times, Mark and Derek always looked after them. Boutique Motel is so convenient close to all shops, airport and my family living in Nelson and its right close to the police station so it gives it that extra safety. Boutique Motel is our home away from home. Thank you Mark and Derek ofa atu.

Excellent, comfortable, clean and friendly place to stay.

Boutique Motel is a wonderful place to stay, the rooms are clean and modern. The service is great. The motel is situated very near to a supermarket, restaurants and close enough to Nelson to be able to explore the area.
Highly recommended!
