Excellent!
Hotel after renovation, very nice impression. Location of the hotel 10/10, the most beautiful views of Muscat and stunning sunsets.
Nice rooms, spacious, new furniture. My family and I arrived in the morning, we were checked in early - thank you very much!
Rooms with balcony or terress exit are recommended. We had a family room on the ground floor with street access.
Amazing breakfasts, a wide variety of dishes, good service.
Large infinity pool, and own beach. The grounds are small but very beautiful.
Special thanks to the hotel staff, receptionists, restaurant staff, room service - everything was great!
The big plus is that there are free transfers from the hotel : to the ranch and Cornish waterfront, to Grand Mosque Qaboos, to Mall of Oman.

A great day's rest!
I ended up in this hotel as a guest for one day and bought a Day Pass. It's worth 20 reais. 10 reais of this amount is given in the form of a voucher, which can be spent on food or drinks at the pool bar.
I didn't use the pool. To get to the beach, you have to go down the stairs to the sea, but the road is not difficult.
The beach is located in a very beautiful and picturesque bay, it is equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas. The place looks exactly like the pictures. It was a wonderful time worth your money. Plus, if you stay until the evening, sunsets from this hotel can be filmed fantastically.

Great hotel in a perfect location
This was our 3td stay; we like to stay here when we land as it’s not too far from the airport, before heading further into Oman. The pools are wonderful, firstly to sit next to for breakfast and later to swim in. There are many places to sit and lots of choices for food. We ate outside at Dukes, the pool bar and The Edge. The food is top quality and the staff are charming. We had a room with balcony and enjoyed the sea views. The beach setting is very picturesque and the steps to it help to walk off the breakfast buffet.

Not the level of responsibility expected from an IHG hote
We stayed at the Crowne Plaza Muscat and initially had a very positive impression of both the hotel and Oman overall. Unfortunately, a serious incident involving the car rental company operating directly from the hotel significantly overshadowed our experience.
We rented a vehicle from Dollar Rent A Car based on the hotel’s recommendation and the fact that the company operates directly from the hotel premises. During our trip, a tire suddenly burst at highway speed while my family, including two small children, was in the vehicle. It was a potentially life-threatening situation.
What disappointed us most was not only the incident itself, but the complete lack of proper support afterwards. Despite roadside assistance being contractually included, no on-site help was provided by the rental company. Even after repeated follow-ups over several weeks and the direct involvement of the hotel’s General Manager as well as the Country Manager of the rental company, the matter was still not handled in a manner that reflected the seriousness of the situation.
As the rental company operates directly from the hotel and was actively recommended to us, we would have expected the hotel to take greater ownership and ensure that the issue was resolved appropriately. It is particularly disappointing that a hotel belonging to a large and internationally respected group such as IHG would allow a guest experience of this nature to be handled in this way.
It is very unfortunate that this experience ultimately damaged the otherwise positive impression we had of Oman.
