Amazing stay

My stay at the mercure hotel was amazing, especially the hospitality was so great, the room was cleaned very well and Mamun, who was cleaning my room was taking his job very serious and did a very good job. He even created some art with the towels, even tho I was alone it felt like I‘m on honeymoon The variety of breakfast could be a bit better, other than that my stay was awesome.

Hotel with very nice staff, but apart from that, the problem comes with the upholstery that is missing only on the walls, so mites everywhere obviously, spacious rooms but not very clean indeed I would say for nothing, breakfast completely to forget, undrinkable juice, everything strictly spicy, non-existent coffee, really horrible, l.
The rooftop pool??a tub with three sun loungers on a pseudo-synthetic lawn surrounded by completely peeling walls.
No thanks.

Recommended for the very helpful staff

The staff at this hotel were excellent. We, along with around 100 others turned up unannounced when our flights were diverted due to the Iran situation. Most of us stayed about 1 week. It is low season so I guess they were not really ready for so many people but they all did brilliantly. The food was fine and replenished often for Breakfast and dinner. Our room was a good size with a decent shower. Unfortunately the window looks onto the wall of the hotel next door! The hotel was well situated for shopping and resturants. It was just a $3 taxi to the old town

Operation of the front desk is a challenge.

We tried to check in at the front desk, but a lot of people were stuck. Apparently, they are people who come on a walk-in (no reservation). It was a chaotic situation because of the small staff. The guest room had the option of smoking or non-smoking. I booked through Agoda, but I was relieved to find that I had no problems with my booking. There is an EV, so there is no problem with large suitcases. The rooms were clean and spacious enough. There was a hot shower in the bathroom. Water pressure was fine. It was convenient to have a 24-hour convenience store in the hotel. I asked for a hairdryer, but it didn't come no matter how long I waited. I urged them to and they finally arrived. Although there is room for growth in this hotel, I think the biggest bottleneck is the lack of staff. I feel that if we have more staff, it will be more and more convenient.

Good stay!

Stayed for 3 days. Clean rooms. Decent buffet breakfast. Gym amenities need some upgradation. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Polite staff. Special mention about Ms. Ithisam and Mr. Edward
