Pleasant stay
The host Lyn was friendly albeit slightly bossy! The B&B is lovely and a bit quirky which is probably why I liked it.
The room was nice but there was cobwebs in the corners of the room near the bed which you can’t see until you turn the bed lamps on. There was a lot of personal items in there like ornaments and trophies which I didn’t mind I just moved them all to one side so I could put my things there and moved them back at the end of the stay.
The walls are paper thin and I could hear the man next door coughing. The bathroom was clean and had everything in you’d expect plus more as you can also hear next door having a shower.
A nice touch was the small fridge outside on the landing to store freezer packs and water in.
The breakfast was lovely, there was a large selection to choose from including a freshly made fruit salad and full English.
Adequate parking although the road to the place is thin and coming in you have to drive through a ford although this could be avoided by approaching from the other side.

A delightful stay
This house is so beautiful and peaceful, it’s a bit outside of Peel itself with horse farms as neighbors! The rooms are spacious and comfy, there was a lovely view over pastures and trees from our window and the breakfast was wonderful. The proprietress is a delight as well, such a sweet person!

What a dump and be warned
Were told on booking we were in the self catering annex. On the website there is a separate self catering stone annex so we presumed that must be where we were stopping.
On arrival for the TT we were shown to a glorified garden shed in the grounds they call the chalet.
It was not clean inside and smelt damp. Cobwebs in door frames etc so clearly not been cleaned on arrival. Dead woodlice on floor and live ones crawling about. Generally tired furniture inside. I tried using the hoover but it didn't do a very good job and smelt when turned on so gave up.
Bedding was clean but tired. Same as the towels.
I could handle the tiredness of the place if it was cheap. After all it was somewhere to sleep essentially but at £70 each person per night plus having to pay for the electric at a meter in the property I thought was taking the p!ss.
Having no chance of getting anywhere else to stop we just bit the bullet and got on with it.
Didn't complain to the owners because we never saw them again and they probably care as much as they do in the appearance of their "chalet".
Just here to warn future TT visitors to give it a miss unless you like paying over the odds for squalor because your a motorcyclist.
They'll probably reply on here with some drivel but hey ho. I'll kept telling everyone what a dump it is.

Dog homestay
Best homestay for dogs in the Isle of Man. Better than kennels. As an ex RSPCA Inspector and viewing other kennels. Lyn at Langtoft Manor is head and shoulders better than the rest. My Jack Russell, Poppy stayed for 11 days and had the time of her life. Lovely setting and peaceful. Well done Lyn. I would not trust anyone else with my little dog.

Over night stay
This place is about 1.5 miles out of Peel if your walking but the owner will pick you up. The breakfast was lovely but it would have been appreciated if there had been toiletries in the bedroom, the mugs were mismatched and carpet threadbare at side of the bed but it was clean and acceptable and we had a nice one night stay
