Bocas del Coffee!!

We were very lucky enough to randomly meet the new, super friendly owners (Daniel & Heather) on our first afternoon in town, which lead to several amazing Bocas Town experiences, including a really lovely visit to this cafe, which also operates as a small B&B.
They have curated a pretty extensive menu. The restaurant is generally open for breakfast and lunch, but they have been experimenting with staying open a bit later and having local musical acts to come and play in the evenings. We did not have the privilege of staying in their rooms, but we did while away a few hours in their sizable and nicely air-conditioned space, enjoying flavorful coffee, really tasty cookies (thank you Nena!), and a very yummy Cubano sandwich. Everything is made in house. They also have several locally-sourced gifts available for purchase to take home (coffees, chocolates, lotions and soaps, etc.). There are also lots of games (dominoes, checkers, cards, and the like), if you wanted to play with friends while enjoying your coffee.
The restaurant is very well located on Calle 1b, right in the middle of everything. It is also a very easy, 10 min walk to/from the airport and less than that to nearly everything else.  We really enjoyed relaxing here before walking to the airport for our afternoon flight back to Panama City. If you’re in Bocas Town, do swing by and enjoy some coffee. And please say “hello” to Heather and Daniel for us!

Echter speciality coffee @ bocas

A nice cafe with its own roasting and simply good coffee specialties which invites you to linger. Wirklicher speciality coffee auf Bocas.
Very friendly staff and for Panama there are also quite dark roasts.
Absolutely worth a visit!

Cat in the cup

Excellent coffee. Good chai latte. Good breakfast options. Opens 8.00. Very clean . Male owner grumpy lady owner friendly. Staff good. Not a lot to choose from. But what they serve is fresh and tasty. Eggs and bread fresh. I went back so that's an indicator for me I enjoyed the food.

Great coffee

The coffee is local Boquette Panama coffee and roasted on site. Never more than a month old when served. The excellent espresso blends change from time to time but the regular coffee is single origin. First quality and the owners are always willing to answer coffee questions. Enjoy.

We were invited through the glass to have coffee.
We spent a few days there but it seemed to be closed.
We had cold chocolate (cold here, culturally, is not iced milk, they add ice).
Roast beef sandwich with cheese and pickles on a baguette.
