Relax! Relax! Relax!
Hidden gem in chame Panama
Thank you very much Raul for giving us the best hospitality service.
The blue house :
Myself and my friend stayed at the blue house for 4 days
What an amazing place .
As soon as you awoke the first you heard was the birds spectacular sound’s followed by the light misty drizzling shower from the mountain
Beautiful location.
The house is simple with swimming pool and small kitchen enough space for hang out . Beautiful location where you can access pacific beach in 10 minutes in hour drive each side of mountains . We chose to stay in pacific side .
If you want you can shop and make your own breakfast but we wanna experience complete local food and of course Raul took us out where there is the real local food .
He always come and meet us with coffee and plan the day trip . And he was our friend , guide , driver and he good tutor about the nature reserve living life.
Within is hour or less we were in his car . Fist day we went on mountain hiking which was amazing trip . About 4 hours give are take .
Second day Raul took us to the river in another side of mountain on eve again amazing relaxation in the fresh river with local beers .
Finally he took us to experience the indigenous people where you have to take few hours drive close to city and then take the river trip by kattumaran to reach there place . Wow I can’t explain how amazing was that . The real life of humans live with nature.
They even served us a lunch which was locally caught fish and some plantain tostadas.
Whole trip was great and the best out of my whole life experience. And it’s great value very affordable stay .
Especially Mr.Raul’s hospitality service made me to plan another trip to blue house in May .

Bad experience
While the place is nice and has potential, our experience was deeply negative due to the owner's behavior. What should have been a weekend of rest and recreation ended up being an uncomfortable and tense experience.
From the beginning, the owner tried to impose restrictions that were never reported before the rental, intending to limit the use of the social area and the pool in the early evening. This is not only contradictory to the type of accommodation, but generates a sense of deception as to the actual conditions of the service.
Complaints about the music were constant, even though a small horn was used in an open space, outdoors, in a rural area with distant neighboring properties. The situation escalated when the owner turned off the lights in the social area, leaving us in the dark, and hinted that we should leave the place.
The most awkward moment occurred when the owner argued with guests, raised his voice and created a confrontational atmosphere, even in the presence of children and an adult lady. His attitude was erratic and, in our opinion, gave the impression of having ingested liquor, which aggravated the feeling of insecurity and unprofessionalism.
Throughout the stay, the owner kept an eye on every detail, constantly intervening in our activities. Additionally, we were charged extra charges for children who did not occupy additional beds or rooms, without a clear explanation.
To complete the experience, before the official check out time, half an hour before check out, the cleaning staff was dispatched while we were still at the property, which generated unnecessary pressure and a glaring lack of courtesy.
In short, the problem is not where, but how it is managed. We do not recommend this accommodation to those who seek tranquility, respect and an experience according to what is promised in this type of accommodation. Unfortunately, we would not return.

A hidden gem
This is an awesome place! Very nice gardens,tranquil neighborhood, super friendly owner, great dogs,pool ping pong, great atmosphere. The surf beaches are very close, a surfers inn even though it is not at the beach. We had a great time.!
