Excellent cost/benefit ratio
The area is perfect, central, close to everything. The price is optimal for the level of service and type of rooms. The best thing is, because of the leafy trees it has a pleasant microclimate, outside you can be in hell, but inside it is relatively cool. I guess when I return to Asunción, I will return.

Great value accomodation
I recently stayed here with my boyfriend & we were very happy with this place. Location wise it off the beaten track in a sense as there are no places really near by for a coffee (just a service station) as the breakfast offered is basic & over priced. We took a bus to Asuncion so it was very convenient for us as it is located in between the terminal and the main shopping area. There is also a shopping center relatively near. We walked back from the center at night time and we felt very safe. We found the room very comfortable with a good shower. The rooms open onto a central garden patio which is so beautiful and the highlight of this hotel. We would like tea & coffee facilities to be added and the staff weren´t particularly friendly which didn´t seem usual as all the reviews that I read before arriving highlighted the staff being friendly but perhaps we caught them on an off day, they were very professional so I wouldn´t fault this. I would highly recommend this place as a budget friendly place with a lovely patio garden

A cosy residencia
The hotel is quite small and very cosy. There is a very beautiful patio. The rooms are not big but there is everything needed and they are very clean. The bathroom is nice.
The service is excellent and friendly. With extra pay you can get breakfast in your room.

Decent place, Poor Customer Service
My bus to Asuncion was canceled so I had to take an earlier one. I arrived just before 6am and kindly requested to get into my room early. I was told my room was empty and I would either need to "wait in the lobby for five hours or pay another full day's rate." I was tired and had already made the booking so I didn't want to lose the first night's payment for no show or I would have just gone somewhere else. I can now honestly say I wish I had simply gone somewhere else from the outset and eaten charge. I had originally planned to stay at this establishment for 2 weeks, but left as quickly as possible.
Most hotels will offer you the ability to check in early or out late for a premium, but I've never been told upon inquiry that I could either wait in the lobby for 5 hours or "sleep in the street." (Owner's words) Customer service is not a priority at this location and it's shown by its lack of guests. I understand the owner is probably hurting for business and I hope this feedback will help him make positive adjustments to his business model. I would recommend staying somewhere else.

Service is excellent
The service given at this small "Residencia" is excellent. From my last name, Salomón the manager, though I spoke Dutch so when he went to the airport to pick me up, he brought an interpreter with him. He was always ready to solve any requirement I had during my stay.
The place itself is very nice and quiet, away from the street noise. It is very well locales close to Avenue Mariscal Lopez which is the main road of Asunción.
Last, for breakfast, lunch or dinner I would recommend not to miss the restaurant Rapidito which is in the gas station across from the hotel, which is considered by my local friends, one of the best places to eat in Asunción.
