Lovely owner and excellent value

Located in a residential area 1.5kms from the central bus station, near to some shops, fruit market and a few restaurants. A 10 min walk away from the promenade. The place has 2 rooms, and is run by a lovely lady called Yolanda. Room was large, with comfortable bed, good shower, efficient heat/aircon and very secure. Wifi signal excellent. Use of a well equipped kitchen and fridge freezer. The garden and patio area is beautiful and a pleasure to sit out in. Yolanda will do a large bag of laundry for approx 17,000 guaranis. Overall excellent value for money.

Reading the reviews you may be a little mislead - this is a budget level accommodation, providing a very basic breakfast. The bedroom had a double bed and a 2-singles bunk bed in it. The top rail of the bunk served as a towel rail as the bathroom had none, nor a mirror.

Comfortable place to stay in Encarnacion

This B&B was a clean and comfortable place to stay in Encarnacion; the owner was very sweet and helpful and the garden area offered a nice place to sit outside. It's located in a nice, quiet neighborhood.

Homely B&B

Yolanda was very charming and looked after us well. The room was a good size with a large bathroom. Everything worked well. Breakfast was a typical Paraguayan affair, local cheese, bread, chipas, powdered coffee. A little tricky to find but worth the effort. Can walk to the Costanera from here and there is a good restaurant 2-blocks away.

Wonderful & Welcoming

The B&B is located in a residential neighborhood of Encaranation, but for us everything was walkable. We walked from the border to the hostel (this was a bit far but more as doable even with backpacks), to the city center, the costa negra and the bus station. La Y (Yolanda) was so friendly and helpful as from the moment we arrived we had to return later for some more nights. We slept in the dorm room which was very comfy (there is also a double room) and you can have breakfast outside ! A healthy one including jams, cheese, bread, some local specialties and even some fruits (which tend to grow well but be more difficult to obtain in Paraguay). Just make sure you don't sleep right under the airco !
Also, if you're looking to do some birdwatching or take some tours, I would greatly recommend Y's stepson from Fauna Paraguay (who actually recommended us the hostel !).
You can also chill out in the garden and use the wifi !
