Lovely rustic, quiet accommodation in centre of Cusco

Rustic traditional building around a courtyard. It appears that there is some renovation works being carried out but this did not affect my stay. I was warmly welcomed. My room had a very comfortable double bed, TV, kettle with coffee/tea, and modern shower room. Really quiet. I think there may have only been a couple of people staying there. Great breakfast of mixed fruit and honey, bread rolls, scrambled eggs, jams, fruit juice and tea/coffee, served on the terrace outside of my room. Located 3 mins from the Cathedral/main square on a pedestrianised street. Very quiet. Very reasonably priced. Would not hesitate to stay there again. Lovely family run accommodation.

Dirty, Unsafe, Got Sick!

Dirty sheets every single day, hair from humans and dogs from previous people in a king bed, sweaty smell in the pillows. The owner/manager wasn’t available at all, my belongings were damaged in my absence, it looked like someone was looking for something. I request my money back to go to a different hotel and Miluska, the owner didn’t want to refund me. This place is unsafe and a scam. I should’ve looked at the reviews on booking before and call the police for my damaged belongings.
Peru is one of my favorite places to visit, yet this one left me with a bitter taste. Usually, I have great experiences, this one is one the most horrible experiences in my worldly travels. Also, this woman does a weird thing putting coca leaves in front of every guest room as soon as they arrive without their permission. She doesn’t explain what it is, she just does this while nobody is looking, so disgusting!
