J O Y I T A in downtown Cusco!

I think it's the accommodation I've been proudest of in my life to find. I do a lot of research for Trips and I had a hard time deciding on this hotel because the prices sounded too good to be true. After seeing many options, because there are, I decided to take a chance and book here. HUGE HIT. I have never paid so little for a private room and above all with that quality of sleep and service. The room is small, but for one person it is more than enough. The comfortable bed (daily happened to clean and accommodate, something that in many hostels/B&Bs of this type do not do), everything very clean, pretty place, simple breakfast, but rich and coke tea available. The view from the breakfast room is BEAUTIFUL!!! Super friendly staff attentive to all your needs. It is super close to the Plaza de Armas, with a bakery on the corner and where I never felt insecure. The only negative point I would give you is that the watering can either go FREEZING or BURNING, I could never regulate it and bathing was a bad thing. That and I wish they had a little thicker curtains, because in the morning a lot of light comes in. Outside of that, 100/10, I would definitely stay here every time I return to Cuzco!! Thanks for everything:)

excellent accommodation

A wonderful stay with comfortable prices, the area is perfect for sightseeing, clean bathrooms, tidy rooms, great location, very good and friendly staff, thank you very much for the good service, I hope to return next year!

Cheap and Charming Hotel

Nice Hotel located in the center of the city, the rooms are comfortable and with all the client's needs, super great water and exquisite breakfast with a spectacular view. The prices are really cheap, 35 soles per person in a private room. I recommend it

Nice hostal

The beds are very comfortable. The rooms have a decent size and are very clean. However those close to the Lobby are cold and one can hear every guest that comes to the lobby. The rooms on the second floor are more isolated.
Staff very nice and ready to help except for one guy that decided every guest has only 1 towel.
If you need hair dryer just ask at the reception.
The hotel is located close enough to the Plaza de Armas, just keep in mind the way to the hotel goes up.

The bad: The bathroom was tiny and had mold on the ceilings. One night and one day there was no water at all and the workers didn't seem to think it was a problem (perhaps common in Cusco?). Workers spoke very little English and didn't book a car when requested. Very narrow street. Breakfast was lacking. Charged an extra 50 soles since I had an evening flight and no where to go until then.
The good: it's cheap. They held our bags for us. They scheduled a COVID test (though it was more expensive than anticipated and made us wonder if they were pocketing some of the money).
