After days of trekking through the stunning Cordillera Blanca, Huaraz Essences felt like pure heaven. From the moment I walked in, I knew I had found the perfect place to recharge. The rooms are spacious, quiet, and thoughtfully designed, offering the kind of comfort every tired hiker dreams of.
But the true magic? The nonstop hot shower — strong, reliable, and truly hot. After long days on the trail, stepping into that shower was like stepping into a personal spa. It soothed my aching muscles and gave me the deep reset I needed before my next climb.
Every morning began with a freshly cooked, hot breakfast — eggs, fruits, bread, and local touches that were delicious and filling. You can taste the care in every bite. The hosts are some of the kindest, most attentive people I’ve met on my travels — always ready to help, offer advice, or just greet you with a warm smile.
And then there’s the rooftop restaurant on the 5th floor… wow. You can see Huascarán — the highest peak in Peru — right from your breakfast table. The panoramic views of the surrounding mountains are simply breathtaking, making every meal an experience.
The ambience is peaceful, with warm touches and a quiet charm that makes you feel right at home. Whether you’re a mountaineer, a nature lover, or a traveler looking to unwind, Huaraz Essences is the perfect base.
