Excellent value for money

Excellent hotel, very comfortable beds and rooms and immaculately clean. Room was serviced everyday and even a turndown service!
We arrived in Arequipa at 7am and were allowed to check in at that time.
Breakfast was included and was delicious.
Staff were all friendly and made our stay even more pleasant.
Highly recommended, amazing value for money.

EXCELLENT EL BALCON HOSTEL

It is a hostel that gives very good attention to its visitors, the breakfast is excellent!!! And when I arrived they gave me the room immediately, they didn't tell me that it was very early, they immediately gave it to me, it has a bathroom with very hot water.
The staff is very friendly and it is very close to the Plaza de Armas of Arequipa.
I took a tour that would pick me up at 6 am. and I asked if they could leave me a thermos of water to drink coffee and some bread and butter at 5:30 am and they did so, leaving us with a very good breakfast that we attended to.
Plus the Christmas decorations were really beautiful.
I will return without a doubt
I recommend it 100%

Lucky to have found this gem in the historic district! Charming place with fabulous staff and even had parking!

After battling traffic and being unable to find the place we were originally looking for, my husband parked our car rental in from of El Balcon, and asked if a room was available. What a pleasant surprise when we entered and saw this gorgeous converted mansion with charming rooms and the nicest staff you could imagine! Everything was perfect--the room was spacious, the shower was hot and plentiful, and, at night it is quiet (believe it or not, the traffic stops at around 8:30 pm so you get a very restful sleep). Breakfast in the morning was delicious and beautifully presented. Evelyn and Milagros went out of their way to make our stay perfect. Additionally, I think this is one of the only places in the historic district that has secure, covered parking! We highly recommend El Balcon in Arequipa. You will feel like you are going back in time while staying here, even though it has all the modern conveniences you could possibly want, plus, all the historic sites and restaurants are within walking distance.

Home to 6 generations.

Very clean. Great service from the staff. Beautiful gardens that one can sit and relax. If one goes to the terrace one can appreciate the majestic volcano Misti. The architecture is like no other in the area. I loved the short walk to the main square La Plaza de Armas, or the longer walk to the Mercado San Camilo. ( a must do).
