Home away from home
This was a home away from home filled with love and support from the magnificent Elenita From the moment I contacted her on WhatsApp she welcomed me into her home and her family and created the perfect atmosphere for my pre and post diete during my healing work with ayahuasca. The rooms are basic but clean and the gardens and relaxation areas were so welcoming and wild and full of nature. Elena made beautiful home cooked diete friendly food and compared to many other hotels and hostels in Pucallpa you could feel these were fresh and made with love. Every time I return to Peru I will stay at Sol De Mayo and with the beautiful Elenita. Thankyou for the love and support

I felt like part of the family!
I really enjoyed my time staying at the Sol de Mayo Guest House, it’s a really charming setting and the hostess Elena is an fantastic cook, who can make anything taste amazing! The rooms are basic but comfortable, and also very good value for money. Elena also takes very good care of anybody who stays with her, making you feel like part of the family. If I come back to Pucallpa I will most certainly be staying at Sol de Mayo again.

Perfect place to get some rest.
The rooms in wood are clean and gives a quiet atmosphere for the mind.
You can enjoy your stay at the terrace in the hammock and enjoy the sunset.
No wake-up call needed, because the births will sing you awake.

Little paradise
This place is like little paradise. Very close to Pucallpa airport. The owner, Elena, is such beautiful soul. It was a pleasure to get to know her.
Wonderful back yard space with mango trees, hammocks, songs of birds and frogs, rejuvenating teas make you completely reset from any heavy energies.

Lovely stay at Sol de Mayo!
I really had a great stay at Sol de Mayo. It's such a delightful place to stay and relax.
The rooms are good value for money, simple, clean and pleasant. There is a nice backyard with hamacs, free tea, books where you can relax and meet people.
The Owner, Elena is just fantastic! She has a very positive energy and makes sure everyone is feeling good like at home and that's really what you can feel quickly, to be part of a big family.
She gave me good advices about the city of Pucallpa, places to go, good places to eat and also good shamans. Indeed, a lot of people come to Pucallpa to participate to Ayahuasca ceremonies and they don't really know anything about what are the good and bad shamans which can lead to very bad and dangerous experiences. Elena has some experience on this field and can be a good adviser... ;-)
Well, I'm planning to come back to Pucallpa and will definitely make sure to have a place at Sol de Mayo!!
