An oasis in Puerto Maldonado

For sure on of the best places in town at Puerto Maldonado.
Once you pass the gate, it’s as if you enter an oasis.
Nice, tropical garden
Refreshing swimming pool
Very good restaurant for lunch and diner, the cook is very good.
Lovely breakfast (prepared, not a buffet not a la carte)
Rooms are nice, with airco (a treat in this climate).
2 remarks however; the Terrace at the swimming pool needs urgent changing, it’s dangerous now. Waiting times in the restaurant can be long (1-1,5 hours) if buddy, but you can pre-order while having an apero

Pleasant stay.

We stayed her for one night, coming out of the Amazon. It was clean, comfortable, and all of the staff were very friendly. I booked it because it had a restaurant. It is closed for lunch on Thursdays. Since we arrived early, we were starving. We were also exhausted and didn't want to go out. Brian at the reception desk was very helpful finding us a delivery surface. We did eat dinner at the restaurant in the evening, after an excursion to go fishing for piranha, viewing macaws and parrots, all during a gorgeous sunset. That was a wonderful experience.

A magical Amazonian escape: Nature, comfort , and unforgettable flavors at Kapievi

Kapievi is a truly magical place, surrounded by lush vegetation and thoughtfully designed spaces that cater to every occasion, always with a strong focus on the guest experience. The staff were consistently attentive and made sure all my needs were met. Its location, very close to the Tambopata River, allowed me to go for long runs while enjoying breathtaking natural scenery. Their new restaurant, Soroko, offers a delicious variety of Amazonian cuisine, and the cocktails are unlike anything I’ve ever tried before.

Disappointing and a bad hotel

I would not recommend this hotel at all! It was terrible and I will never go there again.
When we came there was no one at the front desk, so I had to go and find the staff, and 'he' wasn't in a hurry, even though we stood around waiting a lot of people.
Be aware that the pictures at the web side are manipluated.
Every day they did not put towels at our room. Our room was dirty and there where food left over under the bed. They forgot to put toilet paper every day.
The pool deck which was made by wood was broken, and it look dirty around the pool.
The food at the restaurant was limited, even though there were no other restaurants nearby. And in the morning you had to pick the same food as your partner, you could not choose something else, which was a big problen for us, because we don't eat the same things. The people at the restaurant did not understand english very good, only few words.
All in all - don't book this hotel is so disappointing!

During your stay, we made additional efforts to accommodate your requests, including preparing breakfast options outside of our standard service, which is not à la carte but the same for all guests as part of our concept.
Regarding your comments about cleanliness and maintenance, we take these matters very seriously. Our housekeeping team follows daily procedures, and your observations have been shared internally to reinforce our standards and continue improving.
In terms of communication, while not all of our staff are fully fluent in English, we are continuously working on improving in this area to better assist our international guests.
We would also like to highlight that our property is designed to provide a peaceful, nature-oriented experience focused on rest and disconnection, which may differ from a conventional city hotel.
We regret that we were not able to meet your expectations on this occasion. Nevertheless, we remain committed to delivering the quality of service that many of our guests appreciate and highlight in their reviews.

Recommended hotel with good vibe

Cool and relaxed atmosphere, Almond and all the very friendly staff willing, rooms with authentic decor and clean, the hotel is close to the center but somewhat away to feel the disconnection, a good balance, recommended!
