trujillo close to the center quiet and clean
Pleasant rooms, we preferred 3rd floor despite the lack of elevator, the windows turn to the stairwell but have privacy.
Breakfast is slightly above the standard in Peru - but the dining room is "hidden" somewhere. Block distance from the Plaza ,Professional and English speaking assistant staff. We arrived from a night drive from Huaraz early in the morning and immediately got a room.we arrived with a taxi (5km) but there is a free transportationfrom bus terminal
Price is $ 40 per night via booking

Friendly but staff did not speak english. But location is fantastic, perfect!
However if you are a light sleeper it will be a bad choice for you because you can hear everything absolutely everything outside and neighbors. A poor guy was really stomach sick first night and we felt really sorry for him, it was like he was in our toilet.

I arrange this hotel for my parents to stay close to the city center, the hotel was good and well place. As and advantage, because it's really hot this time of the year, the room was fresh and also it has fridge.

Good, modern, efficient hotel
Good, modern, efficient hotel with decent facilities. Hot water, water pressure, cable TV and Wi-Fi all worked fine. Plenty of closet space and hangers. Continental breakfast was the same all six days I was there: the usual Peruvian offering of bread, butter, jam, orange and papaya juice, but they also had kalamata olives, cereal, yogurt, ham sandwiches, and eggs or chopped fruit on request. They sell cold beer and there is a desktop computer. There are always at least two people at the desk to help you with whatever you need.
The hotel is very conveniently located a block and a half from the Plaza de Armas, with a bodega on each end of the block and a vegetarian restaurant a few doors down. It's also just a few blocks from the world's largest mosaic, at the Universidad de Trujillo. Ask for directions to see these great works of art.
CONS: My room, 106, didn't have a window with a view, just a high unreachable window in the bathroom leading out to--well, I don't know what. Ask for a fan. Also, there isn't much space in the bathroom and shower to put your stuff.
PLEASE NOTE: The hotel doesn't actually say "Plaza Trujillo" in front. It is actually called Suite Plaza Hotel Residencial. At first I thought I was in the wrong place, because it looks and seems like an expensive hotel, but it was actually quite a bargain.
