Nice room

Third visit here. Had my best room so far at top floor also most expensive 70 zlotys /night.
Owner nice and helpful. Fluent in German, also speak ok english.Missed that no coffee was provided, Tip: ask for towel when checking in they are not in the room. If you need assistance from personnel and there is no one in the reception , go to front door and use the door bell.

Poor management, the reception at night couldnt communicate well in English

We arrived almost at midnight due to heavily delayed flight. We reserved 2 beds in female dormitory room. To our surpise, the room had only one free bed, but the reception thought there were two, so he moved the stuff from one bed to another. Though we asked him repeatedly if the bed was free, he just continued moving the stuff, so we wondered if he could communicate well in English. Before we went to bed, these ladies who have reserved the beds came back and they realized that the stuffs were moved, and complained to the reception. Then another man came to free another bed for us, which clearly has a backpack laying on top. He changed the bedsheet etc in front of our eyes, and explained to the complaining lady that my friend could sleep there, and he would take care of the lady who's supposed to be in that bed later. Thankfully, one girl in that room hasnt slept yet and she could speak English, so we asked her what was happening and what the man said. The bed was bad, as the wooden bars underneath the mattress were incomplete and not properly arranged. There are only 1 bathroom and 1 toiler for each female or male side of the sleeping arrangement, which were not that clean. During the night, through the opened window, we could hear how noisy the road was. We felt so uncomfortable, so we found another accommodation on the next day.

Perfect location, terrible attention

The lady of the hostel is really moody and she doesn't speak any english, so, if you need something, you'll most certainly won't get it. We got a room for 2 people, 3rd floor, really tiny and uncomfortable, noisy wood beds, normal stairs, good bathroom and good shower with really hot water. The kitchen has no stove but they have microwave and dishes and 2 tables. Only Wi-Fi in the kitchen, because is not strong enough to get to your room.

Stay away from this horrible place.

THERE IS NO WI-FI IN THE ROOMS. Only at the entrance ground.
We booked in advance a 4-bed room with private showers & toilets. The lady at the reception claimed there was no reservation. We showed her the reservation then she claimed no rooms available. We insisted so she tried to send us to an alternative hostel 40 minutes away from the center. Then a couple walked in & asked for a room & she said she has a room for them... I insisted to receive that room & she gave it to us. We received a really tiny room with a small bed & a windows that only opens a crack wide, while it was burning hot - 30 degrees Celsius. No towels. Shower with bad pressure & no constant hot water & no hook for the shower head. Unfriendly & awkward service by the older lady. The younger lady is nicer but does not speak English (yes, seriously). Just stay away from this place unless your only other option is sleeping in the street. Good things - 1. Low price 2. Perfect location.

Good location nice room but you cannot wait 1 hr to check out and get you deposit back!

Nice place located in the centre of Gdansk, we booked the double room with private bathroom and it was clean and tidy. The only problem was that the morning after we had to check out and there was nobody at the reception I tried to call the owner but none answered. Moreover, we could not simply leave because we had to pay a deposit for the key and I wanted to take it back of course! He finally came at 12! The question is how I am i supposed to take my money back if you are not there and I have to leave before 12?
