Great little hotel
Visited here for 4 nights in June with my wife and her parents. Hotel is only a short drive from the airport. On arrival we we greeted by the owner who waited up for us specially as our plane was delayed by 3 hours so arrived after 10pm. Owner very nice, took us to our room with private bathroom and a nice little balcony. Room was small but nice and clean. There was also a kitchen area with fridge, cutlery, plates, kettle etc. The breakfast was served upstairs and you could eat on a huge balcony overlooking Gdańsk and you could even see the sea. Food was always fresh with plenty of choice. Outside was a beautiful garden with plenty of outdoor seating and even a cat to keep you company. The bus/tram stop was only a short walk down a quite steep hill. All in all great hotel, the only downfall was the WiFi didn’t work on our floor.

Horrible experience in Gdansk
This property should be downgraded from 3 stars for the following reasons:
- Lack of toiletries (soap, shower gel or shampoo);
- Tea and coffee making facilities are not provided;
- No TV signal;
- VERY SLOW Internet – upload speed below 1 Mbps (0.34 Mbps);
- Strong smell in the room (I suspect from the carpet);
- The second bed linen was not changed (left dirty from previous clients).
- Lack of toiletries (soap, shower gel or shampoo);
- Tea and coffee making facilities are not provided;

couple getaway
Super nice at a reasonable price. Breakfast was very good place is super clean. Has a beautiful garden , with a pergola and you can bbq. We stay with my husband for 3 days and we love it .
Is close to the old town , we rented a motorcycle and we have a super fun stay.I will recommend it 100 %

Awful experience at Pan Tadeusz in Danzig
We arrived here after a long research and several mail contacts where we asked for different questions. We asked for a quite room.
As soon as we arrived, in the late evening as forecasted, we found the owner mother who spoke only Polish so we were not able to communicate. We asked for a pair of extra-towels and she didn0’t understand as she wasn’t able to give us directions to connect the wife. We realized there was a sign in the corridor but it was written only in Polish. Fortunately after several trials and few swearing we were able to connect in order to organize the rest of our itinerant trip. We asked to pay by credit card long in advance, with our correspondence and we asked to pay in PLN and not in EUR (which is an unacceptable change rate).
When we arrived the woman asked us to pay immediately and she charged us with city tax which they didn’t specify, although requested, in the original email.
We asked to postpone the payment when her son, supposed to be English speaking , would be there.
The woman gave us a room at the last floor, and she sowed us the turret on the top used for guests breakfast. We didn’t realize what was happening .
The day after (SUNDAY), early in the morning (6.00AM) we started listening the heavy step noise coming from our room floor together with trampling, flushing, talking, crying, floor buckling, cracking, resounding etc
A real nightmare for a sleeper lover !!!!
After the breakfast we tried to complaint but again it was available only the father of the pension owner who didn’t speak nor understood a word in English.
The day after the noise reduced a little bit, also because many guest departed the day before (it was Monday).
Finally at the checking-out operations, the owner came out. I expressed him all my complaint and that our staying was not pleasant for the reason written before.
He didn’t seems very interested in our complaint. He didn’t speak English at all or at least he makes a show of.
Then I gave him my CC to pay the bill and he put the price in EUR instead of PLN. So I refused to pay and I asked home to cancel the operation and to let me pay in PLN.
Really bad staying with awful owners. Only for Polish, not suggested for other people. Beware of the CC bill trick polish use !!!

Comfortable, clean, quiet.
This family business is really good value for money. It's very comfortable, very clean and very quiet.
It's also 4 tram stops from the Old Town, 5 from Gdansk Central Station and about a roughly 20-25 zloty taxi fare from either. They have secured car parking spaces for a few cars. The only issue is that it is a walk uphill from the tram stop.
Rooms include a balcony (sometimes shared), reasonable wifi and a shared kitchen - but with no cooking facilities. There is a garden with a pergola, picnic tables and a BBQ.
Loved staying here. The people were so helpful.
