Perfect Romantic Lodge Weekend Getaway
First time to Poland and we stayed in this charming countryside hotel. We came to Gorzno to learn about the village of my wife's anscestors. We had a wonderfully romantic stay at the Hotel Wapionka.
If we lived in Poland, this would be an awesome weekend getaway destination. I think visiting in winter made it even more romantic because we felt like we had the entire resort to ourselves. Unfortunately we could only stay one night.
Things that we really liked:
- Friendly staff
- Receptionist spoke good English
- Cozy, yet spacious lodge room
- Plenty of hot water
- Spa/Sauna/Steam Room were very enjoyable and basically private because there was no one else there
- Beautiful dining hall set on the lake
- Great food
- Clean
After a great night, we slept in and thought that we had missed breakfast. The nice recptionist called our room and said that they were waiting for us in the dining hall. When we got there they had an amazing spread of breakfast on a table with a beautiful view of the frozen lake.
This was the only bed and breakfast type resort we stayed at while in Poland. We would definitely do it again.

Absolutely loved this place! The food was great, had the meat pierogie. I did get the chance to try the steam room, definitely recommend.

Great hotel, if You want to rest, You have to try it.
Actualy we have a weeding at place. Everything Was fantastic, not only for us, but also our guests. They have fantastic nature surroundings, lake, forrest, bike tracks. All equipment You can just take and use, like kayak or bikes etc. Very Good restaurant, delicious food, Great service. Right now they have also sauna and jacuzzi so You can easily relax after busy day. Everyone on The place are kind and helpful and what is important cheerfull. I advice to visit This place, If You go There once, You will be in loved and coming back There for rest of Your life;)
