Hotel very good. Great location. The main shopping & entertainment area is right outside.
Hotel is well maintained with a great breakfast.
Staff were ok, but not welcoming (or evening looking) and couldn’t even recommend anything to see in the town, even though there are some great sites

This hotel is in a good location for the train station and shops etc, and that is handy. All of the staff seemed very nice, including the restaurant staff and the reception staff, expect for the person who checked me in. Thankfully I never had to deal directly with that person again but he was hovering around regularly. I do not expect to be spoken to in the way he did with such a foul look, especially with status in the Accor loyalty scheme. Unfortunately, it was not possible to be upgraded this time, and I got a bit of soap. Loyalty is important there it seems /s. Anyway, the hotel was ok but nothing special. Kind of a bit of a strange atmosphere it seemed to me.

There's even a bebok just outside the main door!

Ideal location if you arrive by train - just walk across the square and you're there! We actually arrived before check-in time, but our room was already available. It was an eighth-floor room with a view over the railway station which I actually enjoyed.
The room was absolutely fine, with a comfortable bed. Towels were changed every day if required, and two free bottles of water in the room every day.
We had breakfast every day, which was extensive and delicious. Very good value (and that's coming from a Yorkshireman!). We also ate on two occasions in the evening in the hotel restaurant, where the food was tasty and beautifully presented. Again, good value. There's a nice bar area for a quiet drink.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant staff very efficient. I'd have no hesitation recommending this hotel. Oh, and there's even a bebok just outside the main door!

Nice hotel, central in Katowice. Good breakfast, and nice staff at the breakfast. The staff in the reception were no good. They did not welcome us in a nice way, and they did not care asking about the stay when we checked out.
