Brutalist Charm Meets Modern Comfort

As a lover of Brutalist architecture from the communist era, voco Katowice truly captured my heart. The exterior proudly reflects that powerful, raw architectural style — bold, monumental, and deeply rooted in the city’s history. It stands as a beautiful reminder of a distinctive period in design.
What impressed me even more is how respectfully the original elements have been preserved. The original floors, the walls, and especially the stunning mosaic outside must absolutely remain untouched — they give the building its soul and authenticity. Preserving these details is essential.
Inside, the stylish and elegant modern interior blends perfectly with the historic structure. The combination of contemporary comfort and preserved Brutalist character creates a unique atmosphere that feels both sophisticated and meaningful.
A perfect harmony between past and present. Highly recommended for architecture lovers and anyone who appreciates thoughtful design.
Check-in was smooth and very friendly. My IHG membership was immediately recognized, which made the welcome feel personal and attentive.
The room was beautiful, modern, and very spacious. The bed was excellent — comfortable mattress and great pillows, ensuring a perfect night’s sleep. The only small downside was the phone light, which was quite bright in the dark, so I had to turn it off at night.
Overall, a wonderful stay combining architectural character with modern comfort

Nice modern hotel, walkable from the train station. Good gym. Easy to get an Uber back to the airport 20 euro.

a very good choice

The place is elegant and clean. Slow elevators. Nice staff. Breakfast is not as tasty as I expected, there is certainly room for improvement in that area. You can oder items from the menu at breakfast, except nobody knows (or tells you) about it. Overall, the hotel is a very good choice.

The restaurant is amazing, beautiful and the food is great! The bar and service staff was also great! The room was beautiful and very clean!
