Old and new
We stayed in this hotel for two nights over Easter 2018. And it was fairly busy for this time of year. It is located quite far from Lanckorona, basically on the other side of the hill, and about 100 m from main road from Lanckorona. Can't be missed, as it is the biggest buildings in the village. As the whole area struggles with public transport - accessible by own transport only. Complex consists of big wooden heritage building, form the beginning of 20th century, and a new extension, possibly three times as big, as the old part. Plenty of parking sapces behind the building, but as it is located on a bit of a slope - there's much more stairs to fight with from that back parking to get to reception. Receptionist wasn't too friendly, rather bored and unhappy. Well, nobody wants to work during Easter, but this is probably what you would expect, working in hotel industry. We never used any spa or pool, so don't know of their quality. We got room on second floor, with very nice wiev. But, as it is wooden building, with wooden floor, it can be noisy, and people on floor below can hear your every step - and our teenager son was reprimended for getting too excited and making to much noise in room, as the guests below were complaining... First time ever we had to face such situation, and we travel a lot in last decade or so. The best part of the hotel is their restaurant, called Atelier, located right between old and new parts of the hotel. Superb food, very quick service. Plus breakfasts were much richer, due to Easter, by adding some traditional dishes. If it wasn't for the restaurant it would be three stars.

Country Hotel
We stayed here for a couple of nights to attend a nearby wedding. The hotel is situated out in the country near the small village of Lanckorona which is a 15 minute walk away. It is a rather rambling place which has obviously been added onto over the years. The rooms are of a reasonable size. The shower room in our bedroom was rather small and had no toiletries other than 4 packets of shower/shampoo gel and liquid soap. No air conditioning. The beds were comfortable enough. The bedrooms were not made up during the day.The hotel has a restaurant which serves basic traditional polish food. Breakfast was fairly limited- cold meats and cheese, 2 cereals, scrambled egg and polish sausage, lovely fresh bread with jams. Outside there is a very nice swimming pool though it was a little too cold to swim while we were there but looked like a pleasant place to relax on a sunny day. Some English was spoken by a few of the staff.

Sauna in the room
In the hot days, it was impossible to sleep or even to stay in the rooms from the south side. Unfortunately, because of the lack of A/C, poor thermal isolation and trashy beds, they do not secure comfortable conditions.
The staff is unprofessional, inexperienced and do not demonstrate the special concern for the guests.
The bright side of this property is for sure the beautiful location and the outdoor swimming pool, used not only by the hotel guests, but also by the people from outside.
The restaurant offers quite average breakfast, served again in the hot and sunny dinning room and tasty meals for the lunch or dinner. However, be prepared for a long waiting for a meal.

Dramatyczna obsługa
Miałem okazję być w Hotelu Modrzewiówka w zeszła sobotę na imprezie urodzinowej. Plusem tego obiektu jest urokliwe miejsce oraz poprawne domowe jedzenie. Obsługa fatalna. Panie kelnerki zniknęły na 3 godziny. Siedziały w biurze z panią recepcjonistka piły drinki i świetnie się bawiły. Bar zostawiły pusty bez jakiegokolwiek nadzoru. Talerzyki po torcie nie zostały posprzątane do godziny drugiej w nocy (tort był serwowany ok 20) ani razu nie zostały wymienione talerzyki z zimnej płyty. Obrusy były wyprasowane tylko na blacie część zwisająca była jak wyciągnięta psu z gardła. Najgorsze jest to że kelnerki zostały pozostawione bez jakiegokolwiek nadzoru. Brak menagerka czy kierownika. Na dodatek był to bardzo śnieżny dzien obsługa hotelu nie odśnieżyła dojazdu więc osoba organizująca imprezę musiała zrobić to na własną rękę. Po wysłaniu maila z opisem całej sytuacji pani menager broniła personelu i nie widziała w tym żadnego problemu. Takie zachowanie jest karygodne i niedopuszczalne. Współczuję osobą które organizują tam wesela ponieważ najważniejszy dzień w życiu może zostać bardzo szybko zniszczony przez niekompetentny personel tego obiektu.

a mogło byc super ....
Piękne położenie, świetna pogoda, pyszne jedzenie i to na tyle. Obiekt wymaga zadbania, wykładzina nie odkurzana od lat, szara.... zniszczone spłuczki w toaletach - trudno zatrzymać lejącą się wodę, W pokojach - niedoprana pościel, brak czajniczków a restauracja czynna do 19,00. Restauracja - totalna samoobsługa - można z baru zabrać to co potrzebne, pań kelnerek brak. Trudno doprosić sie serwetek i takich dodatków jak sól i pieprz. W pokojach wskazane moskitiery - komar nie jest złem, ale szerszeń czy osa - jak ugryzie to można oskarżyć hotel o niedopełnienie zasad bezpieczeństwa. Basen brudne dno, zniechęca do pływania, brak opisu głębokości. SPA - czasy świetności ma za sobą. siedziska w saunach - brudne. jacuzzi - to kompletna ruina. Sala ćwiczeń do samoobsługi. Całość starają się ratować miłe i uczynne panie z recepcji I im serdecznie dziękuję.
