2.8 Receptionist named Tatiana Santos of the Lisbon Alfragide Hotel on July 7, 2026 behind the public reception desk in a relaxed way as if she were on an esplanade of a cafe and not in her workplace chewing and ingesting snacks instead of taking the break, there were two other colleagues for replacement. Sign of lack of professionalism and sluggishness.

They are just greedy

Traveled and stayed worldwide, a royalty member of Accor (complaining to them too!). Never happened in my life but this hotel cancelled my reservation without even asking, I learned from my bank that the hotel’s system did not meet the security requirement: I was on the plane, landed and called them and they had already given the room to someone else and said “we are full”. Greedy!!!!

Decent hotel but a bit out of the way as there was really nothing much in the way of restaurants within walking distance.

Good breakfast but shameful restaurant

Home more than sad, to get a smile to the staff you have to threaten them, except a young woman at the reception smiling and speaking French well enough as by chance. We stayed 3 nights and no improvement over the days. For the rest rooms redone but very small with a bathroom like cruise ship but functional.
Now let's talk about the restaurant finally apart from the breakfast which is very decent with good quality hot and cold dishes. THERE IS NO DINING either at lunch or in the evening. FORGET this is the best advice I can give you. For example, a thawed and not even hot quiche from Lorraine, 30 macaroni with canned bolognese sauce, proper fruit cut and a cardboard box of ice cream from 72 grs to 76€ per kilo. In short 40€ difficult to digest. There are plenty of nice restaurants within 15 minutes drive of the area. I THINK THIS IS THE LAST TIME I BOOK AN IBIS, at least in Spain or Portugal.
