The Villa de Sol is situated between Lisbon and Setubal, 3 kilometres from Sesimbra and its beaches. All the other beaches and the nature- protected hinterland around (ca. 10Km) can be reached very quickly.

Heaven on Earth

Thank you, Maria, for your wonderful hospitality in the most beautiful and comfortable Vila de Sol. This guest house is immaculately clean, tended by Maria and her friendly staff, and is perfectly designed to capture the sun all day. The rooms are magnificent with the essentials provided for your stay. The beds are so comfortable, beautifully presented and are a delight to sink into.
There is a large well-equipped kitchen to prepare your meals, with a dishwasher, which is open to the adjoining dining and lounge area.
The lounges are exquisite with sumptuous sofas where you can just relax and enjoy the décor and objets d’art, or you can sit on the terrace overlooking the pool.
The outside area is south facing and catches the sun all day. There are sun loungers by the pool and parasols if you need to avoid the rays. The swimming pool is very well tended and has steps leading down into a shallow end. The pool also has a deep end and is perfect for swimming or lounging as you wish.
The grounds extend into a shady wooded area if you really need to escape to somewhere cooler. There is a bbq with a large table surrounded by bench seats and cushions to make you comfy while you enjoy your alfresco dining.
The Vila de Sol has it all; a beautiful, luxurious environment but best of all, it has Maria, the friendly, welcoming host who has created heaven on earth for her guests to enjoy. Can’t wait to go back!

Fantastic holiday

Maria the care taker is the best - extremely friendly and very focused on guest needs - they go above and beyond to help - Very clean space , perfect for a great holiday . Very warm , spacious rooms and spacious attached bathroom. They have beach towels , umbrellas, great pool and also a kids pool. Coffee and cakes available in the morning along with warm greetings from Maria the caretaker and her cleaning staff . Well done to them , will sure visit again .

Friendly, welcoming and warm. A wonderful accommodation with a wonderful host.

Maria was there to welcome us and give us a full tour of the property. She was amazingly hospitable and friendly. She made recommendations on where to eat and the options for taxi's etc.
The room was spacious and well decorated, as was the rest of the property.
The pool was wonderful and populated with lots of sunbeds and towels for us to use.
Vila De Sol has BBQ's that guests can use as well as communal fridges, complimentary tea and coffee and a large communal lounge available.
We would definitely return to this wonderful accommodation. Thank you.

Place where I'd come back

We selected this hotel due to the proximity to Bari airport. Excellent connection with surrounding towns. Very spacy, nice food, friendly staff. They even send a car to pick us from airport. Nice beach, reasonable price. Only positive emotions left.
