Quinta da Marka is just WOW!!!
The mansion itself is well furnished, quiet, the grounds are well maintained and amazing. The view of the Douro is breathtaking. The pool area is also simply amazing overlooking the Douro.
The food and the service we’ve had there we just out of this world. The staff is so amazing and are so helpful and friendly.
We had planned on visiting a few wineries during our stay there but were so comfortable that we didn’t move. They also produce their own wine so we just chillax and enjoyed the wine, food, pool, view, and service
The ac in rooms was working really well
Very highly recommended.

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful stay at Quinta Da Marka. Beautiful location with fantastic views of the Duoro River and valley. The room was very clean and peaceful at night. The staff was excellent and very gracious. They provided transportation to nearby Quinta for dinner and wines. The manager of the Quinta, Angela, was very helpful arranging dinner reservation, travel plans, sightseeing, and being a perfect host for the property. They also had very good wines you can purchase.

Fátima cooked us delicious local dishes which her daughter served and explained. Angela is the perfect hostess, answered our many questions and made sure my birthday was special.

I hope to return to this area someday just to stay at quinta da marka! We were fortunate to have the whole place to ourselves and everyone made us feel like we were at home!
If you have the chance to have dinner here during your stay you must, its beautiful home cooked foods. Annabelle and her mother took great care of us and made sure we were happy with our meals and would even ask us what we would want nex time. The house is huge and there is plenty to do, from the pool if the weather is warm, plenty of games and books and just watching the beautiful landscape. They also serve food throughout the day if you are hungry whilst there. Don't forget to also try their wines! Thanks also to Angela who was very kind and also took great care of us! Thank you to everyone who took care of us, truly an experience we will never forget and will tell for years
