Worst hostel I have ever been

Honestly the worst hostel I have ever stayed at. Way too expensive for what you get.
I don’t like to write negative experiences but this has to be shared so you can get an realistic view.
Booking 4 nights in Surfers Den I left two days early because I did not feel comfortable at all, the pictures make it seem like a active social and clean hostel, this is not the case.
There was underwear under my bed that was not mine during my whole stay, there were ants all over my breakfast that was stored in the kitchen, you can not sit on the toilet or move in the bathroom since its so small and if you touch the walls they are too dirty and there are insects walking around.
Also the house is next to a busy car street and there is no fan or airconditioning and the beds squeek at every move. So it’s really hard to sleep.
Don’t expect social activities or a very clean stay because that is not the case. When I told my experience to the reception they could not do anything, honestly if the stay was 30 euros you can expect less but for 75 per night it’s really not it, very overpriced.

Good vibes and Great Hosts

First time solo-ing and decided to come here. It was 10/10. The hosts were very accommodating and the house was great. All the people who stayed there were a great vibe. Highly recommend for anyone going to Ericeira

I loved my stay. A great place to hang out and meet people. Relaxed communal vibe. Cheap surf gear hire. Walkable to surf beaches. Close to great food options - bakeries, takeaways, restaurants and supermarkets.

Best place to go in Ericeira!

For sure the nicest place in ericeira with the most warm and welcoming people! My friend and I enjoyed our stay to the fullest. The location couldn't be better, there's a supermarket 5 mins away and several beaches are within walking distance. Also the city center is really close by foot, everything you need is right there!
Breakfast is included in the price, there's a nice pool and they offer surf rental/lessons
Definitely a must visit!
