The hotel is well located. It is great to have parking included. The stafd are excellent and very helpful. Thank you to all for your politeness and helpfulness. Breakfast is ok.
The issue is not just that the decoration is old - we could see that from the images, it is poorly maintained. The beds are so uncomfortable that it is diffcult to sleep. Two single beds are pushed together, but different heights. 1 had a spring through that made sleep difficult. It is unacceptable for management to say a refurbishment is planned, when guests pay for a room including a decents nights sleep. The reception said other rooms were unlikely to be any better. My hairdryer did not work and there were no other options meaning wet hair each day.
We were provided with a bottle of wine, whuch is fine, but a good nights sleep would be better.
Full compliments to the lovely friendly staff but faculities need improving, if you are going to keep taking peoples money.

Great option in Horta!

Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. I had a spacious room with a view over the sea and Pico. Breakfast is extensive but not very special. Could be something fresher and better, but is a detail. Good hotel and central to Horta, fine for short stay.

Comfortable and convenient

Large modern hotel on the sea front. Very friendly. Very convenient for bars and restaurants. Good breakfast. A good choice.

Outdated, but with some merits

The room was spacious and the bathroom clean, but both showed signs of being a bit old, starting with the carpet in the room.
The soundproofing was very good (the hotel is in a central location).
The breakfast was of good quality.
