Lovely apartment, great location, wonderful host
Torrinha house, has a great location less than 5 minutes walk downhill to the centre of Lagos old town. The apartments are well furnished, in a characterful old house. The top floor of the building has a large shared fully equipped kitchen diner, and leads out to a terrace on either side, so you can get the sun both morning and afternoon.
Nico is a great host and will offer you plenty of advice about the town , its restaurants etc. He was also always contactable on tripadvisor for any questions during the holiday.
We really enjoyed our stay at torrinha , and will have no hesitation in recommending to friends or family
Lagos itself is a wonderful place to visit for a week or two. A lovely old town feel , with loads of great restaurants, from the posh and expensive, to the small and traditional.
Our favourite was Cantinha Algarvio, lovely food, michelin listed, but a three course daily menu for only 22 euro.
For something a bit different, try the adega de marina, an amazing experience and ssuperb seafood.

Best place to stay
We absolutely loved it here! Nico was so helpful and was always available to help us and give us suggestions on where to eat and drink etc. the house was clean, comfortable and the roof top was gorgeous and had a great view over the city. Could not recommend this place more!! Perfect location to town and the beach.

No better place to stay in Lagos!
We stayed at the Torrinha House a week. We had a huge room with a private balcony. The room itself is very comfortable, and very clean. The kitchen is also very clean and you have everything you need at your disposal. The rooftop terrace is amazing to eat your breakfast or enjoy a glass of wine in the evening, with a magnificent view of Lagos. Nico is the best host you could ever ask for, giving perfect advice, and very quick at answering questions by text. The only downside is common to every hotel in Lagos: the seagulls will wake you early in the morning.

Wonderful place !
We spent 5 days in Torrinha house and all that i can say is that it was perfect ! The house and our flat are beautiful, well located near from the city center but as far enought in a quiet street. The host , Nico, provided us plenty of informations and showed himself very available. I definitly recomand this place !

Slipped through the net.
I have just found my handwritten review note from autumn 2016 and so things may have changed a little since my three night stay.
The house is located within the old town walls in the north peaceful residential area and away from, but within easy walking distance to the busy bars and restuarants.
We stayed in the newly refurbished deluxe room number 4 which was a good sized cosy room with a decent sized sofa and it was very clean.
There was a very good well equipped shared community kitchen on the top floor with two verandas . One is sunny the the morning and the other sunny in the afternoon.
Two improvements could be made by supplying larger pillows and a full length mirror.
Because the house is difficult to find by car amongst the narrow one way streets with no stopping , Klaus had to come and find us in a nearby public car park and was very helpful during our stay.
