Great Base for Exploring Lisbon
Location – 5/5
One of the best things about this hotel is its location. It was easy to get around Lisbon using public transportation, and many attractions were within easy reach. Whether I was heading out for sightseeing or simply exploring different neighborhoods, the location made the trip much more convenient.
Atmosphere & Service – 4/5
Overall, I found the hotel comfortable and welcoming. Most staff members were friendly and helpful, and I generally felt well taken care of during my stay.
One area where I think the guest experience could be improved is communication. For example, I wasn’t informed at check-in that the bottled water provided in the room was a one-time complimentary amenity and would not be replenished. When I later asked about additional water, I left the conversation somewhat unclear about the policy. This wasn’t a major issue, but clearer communication upfront would have avoided the confusion.
I also noticed a front-desk employee repeatedly cracking their knuckles while speaking with guests. It may have simply been a nervous habit, but in a hospitality setting it can come across as distracted or impatient. A small detail, but one that stood out.
Rooms – 4/5
My room was comfortable, clean, and met my expectations. I had no significant issues with the accommodations themselves and found it to be a pleasant place to return to after a day of exploring the city.
Value – 4/5
Overall, I think the hotel offers good value, especially considering its location. Most of my concerns related to breakfast operations rather than the accommodations themselves.
The biggest issue I encountered was that breakfast did not always seem fully ready when service began. Breakfast is advertised as starting at 7:00 a.m., but on two separate mornings eggs were not available at opening time. On another morning, they were still unavailable at 9:00 a.m. For guests with early tours, business meetings, or flights, it’s reasonable to expect the advertised breakfast offerings to be available when breakfast service starts.
The breakfast area could also become quite congested. During one breakfast period, a line of guests waiting for coffee blocked access to the hot food area as well as the fruit and yogurt stations. The layout also seemed to require guests to move back and forth between different stations to collect utensils and other items, which added to the congestion during busy periods.
Overall
I enjoyed my stay and would consider staying here again. The location is excellent, the rooms were comfortable, and the staff were generally helpful and professional.
The issues I encountered were relatively minor, but they were noticeable enough to affect the overall experience. Better breakfast readiness, improved traffic flow in the breakfast area, and clearer communication about hotel policies would make a good stay even better.
Overall, I would recommend the hotel, particularly for travelers looking for a convenient location in Lisbon.

Don't confuse Sana Capital with the more high-end sister Sana Epic which is just across it. For it's price, Sana Capital is do-able. Breakfast was decent but can get tiring after 3 mornings of the same.

Ideally and quietly located, Hoppegarten Onn/Off directly in 5 minutes with starting point.
Very well located small but fine city hotel with a really balanced breakfast buffet. The staff very friendly and the rooms clean and nicely decorated, that can only be recommended!

Breakfast was awesome, lots of variety and was fresh and tasty. Wifi was good! Room was comfortable, clean and quiet.
