Old world charm

It’s really fun being in this pretty old house, relaxing in the billiards room. Like traveling in Europe years ago. So very peaceful and quiet, nothing but bird song. Drive or get a taxi/Uber up to enchanting walled city but it’s close. A great bargain.

Lovely, calm stay away from the touristy hustle and bustle of central Obidos

Beautiful house with lots of charm and character, nicely renovated/maintained. The room we stayed in was quite spacious and came with a bathtub in the WC, which was welcome after a long drive. The only thing is, it’s an old house so noise will travel from room to room, or from the hallway. But, again, to be expected!
The pool was great, too; the perfect size for some lazy laps to cool off in the summer heat.
For breakfast, you’ll have to share the dining table with the other guests but I personally enjoyed the experience. The spread was pretty impressive and everything tasty. Coffee and orange juice were both excellent :) The lady who was helping in the kitchen and the breakfast service was such a kind soul.
Overall, great value for cost. Hope to return one day.

No coffee pods or soap/shampoo provided for shower. Having those would have made a huge difference in our stay. The pool was nice and they had towels. We were able to walk into town which was nice. The view of castle was terrific. Very quiet and peaceful.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely historic building. It was a 5 min drive to main Obisdos town. The pool and tennis court was out of action.the rooms were large and air. The breakfast was ample.

Lovely grounds and charmingly decorated interiors. Perhaps not the most comfortable beds (two single beds for my husband and myself) but the ambiance of the place made up for it, and our room and adjoining bathroom were quite spacious. Breakfast was wonderful!
