Homely, peaceful and welcoming

Excellent value for money. Perfect location just a few steps from the beach and bus 500 stop. The entrance and the lift do not impress much, but the friendly staff and cosy, clean room make up for that.

Good views with morbid charm

The accommodation has charm, is well located and has nice staff - but you should do expectation management before booking here. Those expecting a chic hotel where suggested photos match the impressions you can collect should keep their distance. If you are looking for an accommodation that breathes the morbid charm of the city of Porto, offers a short walk to the beach and expects interesting conversations and stories from the staff, you are already in good hands here. The quality of the rooms in terms of equipment and condition does not justify the price alone.
The hotel occupies the top floors of an ageing residential complex and, depending on the room, the condition of the plumbing installations is from bad to acceptable - not every outlet will work either. Breakfast can be taken with a beautiful view, even if not always the drink comes from the vending machine, what you think you have chosen. The possibility in the common room (yes, it feels more like a shared flat) to have a sip of wine or anything else in the evening and spend the time talking is to be emphasized.
All in all, however, rather too expensive a hostel that a hotel.

Feeling at home ❤️

Besides the fantastic and memorable location of the hotel, the interior atmosphere of the building and the great spirit of the people who received and hosted us were super inspiring. Patricia, George, and Fatima thank you for the love you gave to us and made Porto an unforgettable place for us. I will return to meet you hopefully in the future. I give you 5 out of 5 for hospitality, cleanness, breakfast, and your energy.

Very nice hotel with very professional, welcoming and kind staff. I immediately felt at home and a stone's throw from the sea. The rooms are truly welcoming and have everything you could wish for. Room cleaning is the order of the day. Large bathrooms and comfortable rooms. The breakfast is also worth it. I advise.

We were well received, attentive staff speaking French. A big thank you to Georges and Fatima and the lady of the evening for their professionalism and good humor. The breakfast is good and the bedding too. Calm neighborhood. We recommend this step. To book, go directly through them. Enjoy your stay
