4 days in Porto before the Duro valley

10/10 location couldn't be better. Surrounding area has loads to see and do without going far.
Great staff very helpful, cheery, & obliging.
Room was spotless.
Lovely communal area at reception.

The experience in this cafeteria was pretty bad. We ordered three drinks and had to claim them, because they only brought one and, in addition, the soft drinks were tiny (200 ml). The service was disorganized: they came twice to ask us what we had asked.
Although the toasts looked good on the outside, we ordered two of salmon and one of bacon, and the bread was so hard that it couldn’t even be cut with the knife. In general, between the service and the food, it was an experience that I would not repeat.

Note regarding breakfasts of poor quality
Coffee hot water, thick and stifling pancakes , only Nata's pastel was good , only one choice of juice!!!!

Lovely room, great location.

The location and facilities are great, the rooms are modern and well appointed, with large shower room , safe, coffee machine and kettle. The is also a small fridge and there are toiletries provided also. The staff were very helpful and I would highly recommend this guest house to any couples visiting Porto. The reception is unmanned after 3pm but you have an access code to come and go as you please, they also leave lovely sweet treats for you each day to help yourself to.

Small and exclusive feeling, but a guesthouse, not a full service hotel.

Talk about location!
So near the main action, but not so close it’s loud or on a crowded street.
Small but deluxe.
Quality furnishings.
Comfortable beds.
Friendly staff.
But breakfast not included.
No decaf coffee available for the in room coffee maker.

Though the 4 th floor rooms have soaring cathedral ceilings and 10’ French doors to the balcony, there are steep steps up to the sleeping g loft. Makes it scary at night going downstairs to the bathroom!
