I recommend at work or leisure

I frequent the hotel regularly for about two years. The environment is pleasant and careful. The rooms are comfortable care and with good soundproofing. The staff is professional and attentive. It offers free large parking. Good breakfast. In addition it is worth mentioning the location in mythical national 2 . Recommend

Very affordable, super nice service, solid breakfast!

Incredibly nice service by Mr Borges and his staff.
Rooms are small (just like we expected) but clean.
Breakfast was good, and we asked Mr Borges if we could have a vegetable drink instead of milk and he offered to purchase it so we could have it the next breakfast - and we did.
Albergaria Borges is a five-star recommendation when considering value/money.

Where sympathy reigns supreme

On our trip along the N2, we decided to spend the first night in Chaves. When we arrived at the Albergaria, we were welcomed by an extremely friendly team, who created a very familiar atmosphere.
We ended up having dinner at the integrated restaurant where we were able to talk to Mr. Borges, a spectacularly welcoming and good-natured person. The meal was delicious, as was breakfast the next day.
In terms of infrastructure, the Hotel provides the essentials, except for the absence of an elevator.
In short, a warm and welcoming place, which we recommend.

There are no compliments that represent Mr. Miguel's kindness and availability! The space is modern, the rooms pleasant and comfortable, a good breakfast with homemade delicacies in between. We hope to try the restaurant on our next visit!

Hidden Gem on the way to Asturias (great stay and delicious food)

It’s a great location. Not very far from the city center (5min), but also close to the road on our way to Oviedo. The rooms are super clean and modern. They just renovated the entire hotel.
It’s a family owned biz. The staff was great, very nice and helpful. The bonus was the restaurant attached to the hotel. Best bacalhau (cod fish) that I ever had (and I had a lot growing up in Brazil). The owner loves wines and let us tried different ones. Even arranged for us to visit a small exclusive winery.
We will definitely come back to explore the region more.
