Good hotel in Sesimbra.
Room spacious and comfortable, but with some points to need attention.
Staff not friendly and helpful, because we are in a group. The attitude is unjustifiable.

Three room changes, broken AC, a spider, and rude staff — avoid.
We checked in at 9 PM to room C-103 and what followed was one of the most frustrating hotel nights I’ve experienced.
The in-room phone numbers didn’t work, and the reception number wasn’t posted anywhere — I had to guess. When I finally reached the front desk, the receptionist was dismissive and arrogant, insisting information was on the TV when it clearly wasn’t.
The AC cycled on and off and never cooled the room. When we reported it, we were told maintenance is unavailable after 8 PM. The receptionist had to come see it herself before acknowledging the AC was broken — along with the missing phone directory and non-functional contact numbers. I also showed her a spider sitting on my pillow.
We were moved to C-111. Same problem — broken AC. Again, she spoke to us condescendingly, implying we just needed to close the windows. They were already closed. She had to verify it herself. Again.
Her colleague came and also couldn’t fix it — turns out the garden-facing windows are designed so that closing one side opens the other, making the room impossible to seal.
Third move: C-112. AC worked. But nobody mentioned it was the hotel’s only smoking room. The smell was unbearable.

Was not acknowledge at check-in even though 3 staff members were not dealing with anyone, had to ask. No greeting or hello. People skills need to be improved.
Room good size but bathroom a bit small. Balcony good size but view not great.
Buffet breakfast with a good selection of food & drinks. During busy times a bit chaotic but on whole okay.
Location is on a hill & is very steep. Hotel offers a free shuttle but this a car & only takes 4 guest. Maybe they should consider a mini-van.

At check-in 4 staff at desk, 1 dealing with guest, the others heads down, had to ask if one of them could assist. Not very welcoming. Eye contact & a smile are important on arrival. Better training is required. Room good size, with good AC, but bathroom small. Breakfast, good selection of food on offer but at times chaotic. Ryan, in restautant, made guests feel welcomed by being friendly & interacting with a smile on his face. Wished more staff had been like him!

EXCELLENT Hotel !!! … perfectly located high above Sesimbra!! … really spacious rooms (we had a 2 Bedroom with terrace and seview), VERY clean, very well equipped, good beds, great terrace!! .. the best was the staff: ALL extremly helpful, friendly and very professional !! … made our holiday an extraordinary experience - CHEERS!! … Sesimbra is a very nice village with a great beach and tons of Bars, Restaurants and little shops! … the Hotel offers a free of charge pick-up/drop-off shuttle to/from the beach … up the hill: VERY helpful!!..;-)) … the area around Sesimbra is also great (btw parking garage in Hotel is also fro free!!) but you need a Car… Bar-Service at the sunbeds around pool is just GREAT … again SUPER friendly staff .. we WILL come back
