Excellent apartment, centrally located but the microwave oven location needs attention

We booked this apartment at short notice and the proprietors were kind enough to make arrangements so we could check in earlier (the official check in time was 4pm). The proprietors operate fully online and I had to fill in check in forms, download and sign a rental agreement and provide bank account details so they can take a 250 euros deposit even though the booking and payments were made via booking.com. This was quite difficult to do on my fairly new Android phone. The apartment was centrally located close to the Old Bridge. It was cool and quirky inside. It had a glazed balcony like a conservatory with two comfortable chairs leading to a large outside terrace with more chairs. The terrace was great for drying washing. The bedroom had a large comfortable bed and the bathroom had an excellent shower with lots of hot water. The kitchen was well equipped with a washing machine and microwave/combi oven. However, the oven was situated high up in cupboards and we felt this could be dangerous when taking hot food out of the oven. There was a small wooden stool you could stand on to access the oven but this was a bit of a trip hazard when passing through the kitchen to the bathroom at night. The open plan kitchen had a comfortable sofa to watch TV plus a table and two chairs to dine at. The apartment came with a small basket of foods, however, the butter was in the fridge and amounted to one small pat of butter I'm sure this wasn't intended - see photo. The apartment was very secure with a combination lock on the street door and two keys to open an outer door shared by two apartments and then the door to access the apartment.

Great Place to Stay

This cute apartment was an easy 10 minute walk from the train station. It is in a great neighborhood and is very secure. The building does not have an elevator so expect one or two flights of stairs. The apartment itself was clean and furnished with excellent amenities. The washer was so handy after two weeks of travel. The beds were comfortable and both the bedding and towels were high quality. The location was superb with an easy walk to all that Tomar has to offer. Three different grocery stores are nearby as well. Thank you Flattered for a great stay!

A delight.

Beautiful apartment perfectly furnished with stunning views of the Castle.
Comfortable and clean rooms, lovely bathroom, attention to detail while respecting the environment.
Care and efficiency of the property managers, who made us find on arrival also a
box with the necessary for breakfast.
In a word the Flattered made our stay in Tomar perfect and unforgettable.

This is a lovely clean and comfortable apartment. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend to anyone.
We were met at the apartment by Filipa who gave us a brief rundown on the the apartment and left us a welcome basket with milk, bread, butter and jam. A very nice touch.

The place is compact limited space to move around but has all that you need for a comfortable short stay. Well maintained. Clean and it smells clean.
The people running it were very helpful, responsive and attentive to your needs.
