A weekend in Peace and Sossego

It was really a very pleasant experience, where it provided us with a weekend that we will not forget, as it takes us beyond our day to day. The Quinta do Troviscal offers great accommodation with views of the garden and the dam water.

Perfect romantic getaway

Located in a pure natural set over the Zêzere river, close to the iconic Castelo de Bode dam, Quinta do Troviscal is the perfect option if you want a calm and romantic getaway. The host is amazing and the accommodations are perfect. Having breakfast with this view is priceless. Quinta do Troviscal is also close to Tomar, Almourol Castle and other historic and Templar related places, so you'll have plenty to visit.

Gorgeous hideaway

This is an excellent place to relax, especially if you only have a few days. The quinta is located at the end of a dirt track, so it is really quiet. The grounds overlook the lake and there are some steps leading down to a little platform where the rowing boat is tied. The lake is also great for swimming. The gardens have a gorgeous lawn with an enormous weeping willow that invites you to sit under it in the shade, and also the little pool that can be seen on the pictures.
The room was beautifully furnished and at the same time functional.
Breakfast is served on the little patio outside your room and is exactly as shown on the pictures. (It's not for early risers, though, as the earliest you can have it is 9am!)

it's so quiet!

We stayed at Troviscal for 3 nights and it was great! Vera is a lovely hostess and her home is a peacefull and charming place.
All rooms have pool, garden and lake view and the cherry on top is the breakfast that is served at your balcony.
A must go place! And a must go back again!

Very nice place - Heaven!!!

Very nice b&b, near Tomar and around 1.5 hours from Lisbon, beatiful hidden place to relax and enjoy the surroundings!! nice put but much better to go down to the river!!!!!! Breakfast was served very nicely and the owner will recomend lots of things to do around.
