Hidden Gem

What a weekend — we’re already planning the next one!
Had a wonderful weekend at Quinta da Boa Esperança. The estate is serene, and the place is beautiful.
We walked the vineyards, went for a hike, swam and sat by the pool with that view over the vines. Easy, quiet, exactly what you want from a couple of days away.
The wine is exceptional. We did a tasting and kept going at dinner — Arinto, Sauvignon Blanc, Touriga, the Reserva and the rosé. Each one was a highlight.
And the chef is Michelin quality. Shared menu one night, our own dishes the next — both dinners were outstanding.
Lovely hospitality throughout. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you.

Just 40 minutes from Lisbon, Quinta da Boa Esperança is the perfect escape into Portugal's beautiful wine country. The setting is peaceful, the rooms are super comfortable and beautifully maintained, and the hospitality is exceptional. Waking up to stunning vineyard views and enjoying the relaxed atmosphere made for an unforgettable stay. Whether you're looking to explore the surrounding wineries or simply unwind, this guest house is a true hidden gem. I couldn't recommend it more highly and will definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A spectacular vineyard destination in Portugal where cool sophistication meets nature at its best. Stunning!

What a beautiful and unique setting this is. An oasis of calm where cool sophistication meets nature at its best. A taste of true authentic Portugal with the added delight of some fantastic wine produced by the owners on the premises. It’s an amazing space to kick back and relax.
The wine tasting experience is fantastic and the rooms are opulent - really beautifully decorated and so comfortable. The views of the surrounding countryside are breathtaking.
And all within an hours drive of the wonderful city of Lisbon. Can’t recommend this place highly enough!

This is a magical wonderful place. Peaceful and quiet with excellent service and team and the rooms and relaxation areas are beautifully appointed. I can vouch for the wine from the vineyard being world class. Can't wait to return
