perfect for a short stopover!

This was a last-minute booking, and it turned out to be a great choice! The owner is a very sweet and welcoming lady. The location is perfect, right in the middle of Vila Real. The accommodation is simple but very clean, with everything you need for a comfortable night’s sleep. Plus, the breakfast was excellent, especially for the price. Highly recommend!
Negative: It can get a bit noisy at night due to the heavy doors. I wouldn’t stay longer than a couple of nights, but honestly, why would you stay more than a couple of nights in Vila Real?

Nice, inexpensive, central

I enjoyed my stay here. I paid 43 euros, including breakfast. I had a decent sized room, looking onto the square and the church. Noisy bells! But they didn't ring the whole time.
The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. My breakfast was straightforward, but good. Coffee, orange juice and rolls and croissants with ham and cheese. The owner asked me several times if I wanted anything else, although I was pretty full.
There's also 24 hour secure parking just 100 metres away, which bikers may appreciate. My only criticism is - try as I might, I couldn't get the heating to work. However, I was warm enough. The room was clean, hot water was ample. Sound proofing not brilliant, the wooden stairs can be a bit noisy when people come and go. But not enough to trouble my sleep. This place is really central, and good value, imo

The best place for a short trip

Me and my family spent one night there. That's a simple place, but the owners are very sympathetic and helpful. It is important to mention the extremely good food they have in the snack bar downstairs. To cut a long story short: an original portuguese guest house, simple but nice.

bien reçu par la patronne, qui nous a emmené dans un immeuble éloigné de 200m de l'adresse indiquée, dans une chambre vieillotte et mal agencée. Le petit déjeuner était à prendre à l'adresse normale, donc aller et retour ... Petit déjeuner servi sur plateau : 2 sandwiches froids jambon, fromage, beurre et un croissant chaud, jambon, fromage, avec une boisson chaude et un jus de fruit. Si on voulait plus, on nous a précisé qu'il fallait demander. Parking public gratuit à 400m. Sinon stationnement payant dans la rue.

Excelente relação qualidade/preço,pois a localização é ótima e os quartos são cómodos e agradáveis.Todos muito simpáticos e prestaveis e será um local para voltar numa próxima oportunidade.Quartos e casa de banho limpos e com tudo o que precisávamos para a estadia.
