Wonderful experience, felt like home

Very clean, cozy, beautiful view, quiet, and we felt like home. Julia serve us with coffee and pancakes. We left our heavy luggages while we visit Bran Castle. Very hospitable, remind me of how Romania can be, open hearted people. We will visit again. Thank you very much Julia for being so wonderful with us.

Secure Parking when riding the roads near Bran

Pensiunea Iulia is in a quiet location but only a short walk from Bran Castle and the restaurants of the town. There was no name plate for the pension but the address was clearly marked. There is courtyard parking behind a large locked gate for both bikes and cars and my bike was extra safe in a locked garage.
Room size was fine with a good ensuite shower room and plenty of hot water. Everything was clean. There is a kitchen and lounge area for guests to share as well as outside seating. It was peaceful.
The owner is so friendly and helpful that the lack of English was not a problem. We were able to communicate in French, but language really was not a barrier.
Breakfast was typical of these parts with eggs, bread, fruit, cold meets and cheese. Plenty of food and coffee, served with a smile at a time of my choosing.
Bran was a good spot for an overnight when exploring the great mountain roads in the area, including the Transfaragasan.

Very welcoming

We were a group of six runners booked for a three night stay while competing in an Ultra Mountain Marathon. This property certainly ticked all of the boxes and we were made to feel very welcome by our hosts. They do not speak English but we got by with my schoolboy French. We left two pairs of muddy running shoes on the verandah after the race and the next morning they were clean! Within 400m of Bran centre on a quiet road.

Good pension near to Bran Castle

It's a good place to accommodate near the Bran Castle, in a quaet location. Cheap orice, the staff very nice,a beautifull yard, a kitchen You can use and a livingroom You can have breakfast, nice rooms and very well heating in winter, that's whay you cam choose this accommodation. But if you are looking for a 3* hotel, choose another place.
