Pansion Flamingo nudi tropske i šarene, individualno namještene sobe s drvenim gredama i klima-uređajem. Osiguran je besplatni Wi-Fi. Srednjovjekovna Crna crkva u Brašovu udaljena je 800 metara.

Value-for-money place with friendly staff
Having read some of the previous scathing reviews I'm happy to report that this place has really upped its game since. I stayed for two nights in August 2022, and I have nothing but praise to give. All the staff spoke decent English and were very kind and helpful, and the room was clean and tidy. Prior to our arrival we contacted the property to ask if we could please have a room on the ground floor as one of my party uses a walker. This modest request was swiftly granted. :)
Also, the property's location is brilliant – the Old Town is only 1 km (0.6 miles) away, and a taxi to the train station only set us back 17 lei (€/$3.50).
If I were to nitpick, then one of the staff made a bit of a blunder when ordering a taxi for us, as she ordered an Uber instead of a regular taxi. In fairness, she was probably trying to save us a few lei (much appreciated!), but unfortunately she forgot to check if the car would have room for said walker. Ok, no biggie, we realised empirically that it didn't fit in the boot (that's "trunk" to any Americans reading this), parted ways with the Uber driver, and ordered a bigger, regular taxi instead. But, again, we weren't really inconvenienced in any way, and we had plenty of time to spare before our train would leave.
So, overall a very pleasant stay, and at a very fair price, too. I'll definitely be staying here again the next time the wind takes me to Brasov. :)

Don’t go!!!
Very bad place, bathroom old and dirty. The personal are anfriendly , nothing good one this place, keep faraway!!!

unsusual place
The hotel is very close to the city center and is located at a big road, but my room was surprisingly calm (it was in a separate building in the yard) . My room was old, but very charming under roof, romantic "mansard". Big enough, but the equipment may need some touches. In the area, plenty of parking, 24 lei/day (Sunday free), but some other guests were able to park onside. At the reception they have cold/ hot water/tea (free) and coffee machine (5 lei a coffee), which is very nice. For the near-christmas period it was the best option (quality/price) for the last minute booking. ..

Worst experience ever
Located in a touristic country, yet none of the staff in the Pension Flamingo speakes or understand English. A very rude staff, i had confirmation on booking.com website and i called to reconfirm it by phone one day before arrival to inform them that i shall arrive at night.. with very poor english the receiptnist said it is fine.. no problem, just to arrive there and find they have no room available. They canceled my reservation and they said the receiptionist doest understand english!! When i tried to should them the confirmation no. They said no room and kicked me out of the pension at 11pm at night!!!! If they cant speak english they should not be receiving tourists or allocated on the worldwide booking websites.

Good value, convenient location
We chose this hotel because of location - no need to rent a car to get around the city and well, a decent price.
It was a simple setting, clean, quiet. We came from the US and in comparison with our similar accommodations this was a very good value for the money.
This hotel does not have restaurant, but really doesn’t need one as within walking distance we found plenty of options for dinning.
We look forward to going back to Romania-and, will book here.... Much more to see in the historic Brasov area.
